Wetherspoons 
This place is the home of cheap drinks and cocktails, in true Wetherspoons fashion the food isn't great but the beers cheap so I'm not complaining to much!

Main Road
Set just off the High Street on the corner of Barking Road this is another place thats quiet in the week but gets busy when West Ham are at home, some cheap food and drinks deals get people in during the week, no real atmosphere.

One of the places in East Ham to watch football, and anything else on sky or setanta, named after the local football team you'll find lots of West Ham fans in here on a saturday also.

A lot of the younger community go in here, and therefore it gets a bit of a rough reputation, personally I don't mind it, think its quite nice, and good for a cheap pint on the walk home from the tube station.

Walk out of the tube station and its on your left you can't miss it, an old pub thats the heart of East Ham. Busy at weekends and on West Ham home games as its just one tube stop away.

This pub is really well hidden, I stumbled on it by mistake when walking home form town with mates. Lanlord never looks happy, but then he only seems to have 5 or 6 people in at a time so its understandable.

Fast food, thats cooked before you get in, which makes you wonder how long its been sitting there. Its not hot when it gets to you, its just warm which is a bit of a put off.

This place doesn't have a restaurant, it is a little counter that does takeaway or delivery only. The pizzas arer good and always arrive hot.

A good pizza takeaway, also serving southern fried chicken, a great selection of toppings and spices to put on and very competitevely priced. Busy when West Ham are at home as its just up the road, so i wind all their fans up by wearing my Gunners shirt and they hate it!

Buffet 
Home of the best buffet ever, with as much pizza, pasta and salad as you like for £6.49. Thats a bargain, if you've never tried it it is definatly worth it.

This take away makes you realise why the Americans are so fat, the food is gorgeous, cheap and quick to prepare. I couldn't recommend it highly enough, so make sure you go to the gym or have a run to get rid of the waste later in th evening.
