Tasty Chips 
You get loads of chips and they taste like chips too, nice and cooked and crispy. Fish is really big and wide range of other food too.

The Connaught Hotel
Refurbished room was tidy and clean. A big improvement since last staying here. Car Parking was big and safe. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel supplies free WiFi which in unusual.
Food in the restaurant was excellent as was breakfast next morning.

Royal Lancaster Hotel 
Location is excellent above Lancaster Gate tube station so only 5 - 10 minutes tube from Oxford St without changing. With the park directly opposite is nice for a walk early morning.
Rooms are small but functional and comfortable, with tv, radio and internet access but watch out for the high price. Windows do open but you can hear the noise from the traffic below even 15floors up.
Have stayed at this hotel twice on business and would use it again.

Britannia Hotel 
Nice historic hotel, close to the station, even though I got a taxi and in the centre of town.
Book a single room and got given a suite on the top floor, very posh even had an upstairs to the room.
Didn't eat in the restaurant but ordered room service, food was ok and average.
Staff were ok but wouldn't class it as a 3* hotel

Very nice hotel. Room was on the 8th floor and had nice views of the railway line below, Very spacious bedroom with comfortable bed, table and chair and desk, and wardrobe with mirrored doors.
Room had a TV with pay movies and a mini bar which when checking out they tried to charge me for a bottle of water that I had not taken.
The bar was ok and stayed open till late, well it was still open when I went to bed at 1am

Animal Fun
I would advise to go out of season when the weather is overcast as it will be less crowed. We went on a rainy Saturday in October and it was good because there are only a few cars going round the safari park and with the weather being as it was a lot of the animals were out and not shading from the sun. There were not many people on the rides - no queueing so you get to ride on what you want, and when you want. Rides are all fairly tame but enough thrills for young kids and adults.

Used to go here a lot for the weekly shop, always went in the evening and found the shelves were always well stocked. Store is always busy but not so many queues at the checkouts, staff moved you to shorter queues or opened up more if needed.
Only bad point would be the traffic, it can take up 30mins to get out of the car park if there is football on as everyone seems to park in the car park to go to the game.

Nice Hair 
Been going here for a few years now. Very cheap compared to most places, just had a refurb to even though it didnt need one.
Always busy which is a good thing, and staff always very chatty (not nosey like some places).
They are great with kids and always make them welcome, even giving them sweets after they have had there hairs cut.

Not good food 
Used to use this store a lot but has gone down hill since been taken over by Somerfield.
Shelves not well stocked, rubbish on the floors and staff all miserable.
They now have security on the door but it doesn't stop the local kids from hanging around outside.
