Review of Chobham Rugby Club

You're never too young or too old...
A village rugby team that punches well above its weight. There are teams for all ages and abilities ranging from the first team (currently in London South div 2) to the 5ths (who'd rather not say).
The club puts a lot of effort into its Mini and Junior sections. With teams from U5 to U17, many players stay with the club right the way through. Over 50% of the first team came through the youth system at the club.
If you're new to the sport or the area then go to http://www.chobham-rugby.co.uk for details on how to get involved!

Review of Rhoda McGaw Theatre

Always worth a visit
Been here many many times over the years and seen a variety of performances. Some much better than others, but the overall standard is relatively high. There are some talented performers in Woking, you'd be advised to catch them here while you can as most head off to Drama Schools in London as soon as possible!

Best Indian I've Had In Guildford
I've been as part of a couple and a larger group and both times have been highly enjoyable experiences. Cracking food right the way through the meal and the staff were attentive throughout.
If you're on a budget then I wouldn't make this place a regular, but it's still worth it to go for a treat every now and again.

Review of Gurkha Square

Stands up well to repeated visits
My girlfriends family and I have been going here for years. We aren't even local but the journey is worth it. The staff welcome us in every time and are attentive the whole way through (without being overbearing).
The Sandheko Khasi (I probably spelt that wrong) is simply divine. Quite hot but with a succulent taste that makes you savour every bit.
The main courses are diverse and always hit the spot. My parter always goes for the Gurkha Chicken and I tend to go for one of the more fruity options. Some good prawn dishes too.
It is well suited to any occasion. Just go there.

Review of Lloyd's Bar

Is it Lloyds? Is it Wetherspoons? Who knows?!
One of the appeals of Wetherspoons is that it's good to meet people. You can go in, get a good priced drink/meal and speak. Well here they have decided that it's another of those nightclub set in a pub type places. Who thought of that? It's just a bad idea! They even have a pathetic tiny dancefloor. They're trying to make this place something that it really isn't.
Daytime food is okay though.

Review of Andertons Music Co

I'm not a great musician but I love it.
Dedicated knowledgable staff, always friendly and willing to talk. Wide range of instruments at various prices. Easy to spend a whole day in there! Give it a go!

Review of Jo Shmo's

Now called Byron
Prices are a bit cheeky (which is why this is a 3 not 4 star review) but the food is excellent quality. Warm feel to the place and a good drinks menu. However it's now changed it's name and style so may be a bit different (except for the price.)

Delicious
Just yum. Rarely have a found such top quality food outside London. Everything that went near my mouth was an absolute pleasure. Some very original dishes as well as the standards done to a very high level. Even the prawn crackers are worth a mention!
The interior has clearly had a lot of work done and the love has shone through.
Depending on what you get it can get a bit pricey, but as a treat every now and again it is well worth it.

Worth it if you're in the area
The food was great, service was attentive even though we were a last minute group booking and the decor was pretty cool. If I'm in Bude again I shall visit!

A fine little pub
Went there on a holiday with friends. The locals made us feel very welcome. The food was great and the pub quiz was good fun. Prices are good too.
