Great Jewellery & Bags! 
If you are a bag person you will like next the quality of bags, jewellery and in particular watches is great!
It is easy to fall in to the trap of present buying here to as the gifts are great but then you start to look like you only shop at one place!
I can’t seem to buy trousers in Next though as the crotch is so low and the waistbands always seem so high!
You can sometimes find a gem in here but for woman’s clothes it always seems a bit samie at the moment.
Men & Kids do ok though. This next in particular is a good size and the underwear is great!

Good quality
The one thing that is clear with Zara clothes is the quality is great! The clothes are well made. It is reasonably priced as well which can come as a shock.
I bought a really nice well fitting pair of simple black combats from there the other day and I have to say I am still proud of them, it is very hard to find combats, especially black ones that appear to be keeping there colour and shape well after a few washes and they were very inexpensive.
They have a great selection in there to and it is nicely laid out in there, it never looks messy and hectic and is very easy to shop in.

Look out for Bargains!
This place can be unpredictable you never know what you will find sometimes you can go in and be overwhelmed with choice and value, other times its like a jumble sale and none of it is worth the money.
Generally though it is worth a look. When they have there sales you always get bargains to up to 75% off sometimes, can’t be sniffed at.
There sizing can sometimes be odd though so make such you try things on before you buy.

Review of The Trumpet

Nice Atmosphere!
The Trumpet is just outside town so it avoids being on the pub crawl route. It has a very large car park to which is handy.
The pub itself is big inside to and so you more often than not manage to get a seat, it can get busy at the weekends but this can add to the atmosphere.
The food is nice and not to expensive they have 2 for £10 deals in the week to, the staff are lovely to.

Fab prices!
I always do my weekly shop big or small here it is cheaper than some of its rivals and is so close to where I live convenience more than anything keeps me going back.
It has a great range of extras as well such as electronics, DVD's, bathroom bits. It also has a massive Birthday Card section. You can also take your photos in to get them developed.
The only thing that lets it down is the sarnies for lunch the chicken in the sandwiches more often than not tastes like paper so not my first choice for lunch. However it has a great clothes section to so you can spend ages in there having a look around.
There is quite a good range of presents to including sponsor an animal and an African village etc not what you would expect to find. All round good range for the big shop!

Glad it Opened!
I am very pleased that River Island reopened and got bigger! It could do with being bigger still but they seem to be quick with updating stock so it compensates. It can be pricey though and this can be scary but if you are after a pair of good fitting jeans that will last then this is the place, SPLASH OUT!
They are very good if you have to return things and will ring other stores to see if they have stock that they don’t.
They seem to have a large discount section right at the front of the store of late which is great but make sure you are in the mood to search.
It never seems overcrowded in there though which I think has something to do with the layout and it is generally very light and airy in there.

Review of Primark

Primark?
I am still much undecided what I make of the Primark phenomena! Whilst it is clearly very cheap I sometimes wonder if you are getting value with it. I have bought a few tops that quickly shrink and loose shape when washed.
It’s great for costume jewellery though and the queue always seems to disperse very quickly which is good.
The cleanliness of the store is hit and miss though as some days you feel you are walking in to a dusty jumble sale. This can be very off putting!
You do occasionally find a real bargain though so it is worth popping in just to have a browse!

Morrisons
When shopping in Morrison’s you do get some great deals but often you don’t always need what you buy. Popping into Morrison’s for the weekly essentials can turn in to a nightmare as you end up buying things you don’t even need just because they are there and its buy one get one free! Chocolate Doughnuts are not an essential food!
However it has a really nice fresh salad section if you pop in at lunch time.
You do need to remember your pound for parking though or you will find yourself getting annoyed and just going home or being risk of getting a parking ticket!

I love Dominoes it’s a great place for fast cheap food!
They always have some sort of deal on so that is always the first question I ask when I ring up.
They have always been on time when delivering to me so far as well which is good.

Never a place you will have to wait to long to get served in so cant be bad! The staff are always very polite.
There is a very nice outside area you can sit in as well which is very handy.
The car park sometimes gets very full though and there is not alot in the way of other options for parking in that location.

Nice atmosphere
This is a great little place for a drink after work with a friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff.
The sandwiches are very nice at lunchtime very quick as well which is handy when you are in a rush!
Overall it’s a really nice place to go for a drink and the foyer always smells really nice, weird but true and makes it very inviting!

Lloyds is one of those bars that is fine to go in for a quick drink but if you are going for grub just make sure its not a demanding order, stick to chips!
It seems to take along time to get a drink as well and even though there is a bar upstairs its pointless really as it is never open.
Also I think due to its location and cheapness it must be 'the place to start drinking' for many groups of people going on a night out. If you go straight from work it becomes very loud and packed full of half naked people by about 6.30pmish so if you fancy a quick drink after work make it a quick one, in and out!

Always really helpful!
This isn’t the biggest warehouse by any stretch of the imagination but it is always well laid out.
The staff are absolutely fantastic every time you go in there they ask you what you are looking for and will be full of suggestions, even taking you in to the changing rooms and trying on different variations with you.
They are full of good advice and mix and match ideas that you really wouldn't have thought of!
Sometimes a bit expensive but well worth it if you have a special occasion.

Great Shop!
Topshop is one of my favourite places to shop in Northampton as they regularly update their stock, not always great as sometimes that 'thing' you had every intention of going back and getting has vanished. However great as you aren’t always getting déjà vu.
Also the staff are absolutely lovely and normally always wearing something you want to grab for your own wardrobe and they are more than happy to help you find it if you ask! Also unlike some shops which are all to keen on saying that dreaded phrase, 'if it’s not out on the hanger we don’t have it!' The Topshop staff will always always go and check in the back or ring other stores for you in the area.

Ask and you will get!
This restaurant is a nice little find. I went along with some friends for a work do and i found even though there were a few of us the service was excellent.
The waiter however kept dropping things on my friend however they did comensate by giving us some freebies so that was curtious. However she did have to ask for the freebies.
The food was very nice though especially the garlic bread and the dessert so if you go make sure you leave room!

Just nice simply food
It is always really nice, light and clean in this restaurant (unlike some of the alternatives in town)
Great value for money and the chicken teriyaki keeps me going back there.
The staff are always really nice there and will always try and ensure that you are never ever kept waiting.

Nice Night out
I have eaten here with friends a few times and it has nice food but it is not one my list of places i must take visiting friends to.
The staff are all lovely though and the place certainly earns brownie points for that!
The food is nice and good value for money and it is always nice to learn Italian whilst in the loo!

Be in the mood!
There are a few really great places hidden away in this massive shopping centre that as a Northampton girl I will venture out to visit such as Zara but if I can avoid it then I will. It is enormous and whilst this is great for big shops such as the Christmas shop (as everything really is under one roof) it is not the place to shop unless you are really in the mood to go on a mission.
It is great for choice though as it is so MASSIVE so if you fancy lunch and a stole worth a visit.

Friendly Florist
We recently had a family tragedy and arranged all the flowers through this florist. They were really easy to deal with and all the flowers were really tastefully done. I would definitely use them again.
