Look out for Bargains! 
This place can be unpredictable you never know what you will find sometimes you can go in and be overwhelmed with choice and value, other times its like a jumble sale and none of it is worth the money.
Generally though it is worth a look. When they have there sales you always get bargains to up to 75% off sometimes, can’t be sniffed at.
There sizing can sometimes be odd though so make such you try things on before you buy.

Not impressed! 
I have to say when this place first opened in town I was eager to check it out, but having bought some bits from there I was quickly disappointed.
I bought some trousers and top for my partner’s birthday after only a few wears I noticed the trousers had started falling apart all the stitching was unravelling. I was quite annoyed about this but as we had taken them on holiday I thought they wouldn't have let me return them. Actually if I had thought about customer rights I should have marched them back in there.
I do have friends that love this place and occasionally ill spot their outfits and say 'ow where did you get that' when they say Republic I am sometimes tempted to give it a go but the prices coupled with the lack of quality really puts me off.

Good menu, Cheap Grub! 
Unlike its sister restaurant Buddies this place has allot more choice. The food is less greasy and they have a nice lunch time menu. Potato Skins are a nice option and really fill you up without making you feel to full.
The staff are all very friendly and service is always quick so perfect if you don’t have much time but fancied something hot and more substantial than a sarnie.

Glad it Opened!
I am very pleased that River Island reopened and got bigger! It could do with being bigger still but they seem to be quick with updating stock so it compensates. It can be pricey though and this can be scary but if you are after a pair of good fitting jeans that will last then this is the place, SPLASH OUT!
They are very good if you have to return things and will ring other stores to see if they have stock that they don’t.
They seem to have a large discount section right at the front of the store of late which is great but make sure you are in the mood to search.
It never seems overcrowded in there though which I think has something to do with the layout and it is generally very light and airy in there.

Review of Marks & Spencer

Fantastic Food!
I absolutely love Marks and Spencer’s for food, working in town it is so easy to get to and there range for lunch and treats is great. It makes a nice healthy change to some of the other options for lunch in town.
It is quite reasonably priced as well.
I am not really a Marks and Spencer’s clothes shopper but it has looked very nice in there since they had a makeover. The underwear is really nice in there to. They do a range of Minimiser bras which is great if you want to hide your assets! Dont worry they also cater if you want to show them off!

Review of Sosta Cafe

Great Cheesecake! 
When this place first opened in Northampton I was amongst a fair few that laughed and said 'Sosta' that sounds familiar but wont be as good... How wrong can you be go there once and you will love it.
This is a fantastic place to go for a hot chocolate to recharge the batteries after a long day at work.
The staff are really great as well always smiling and very chilled they never want to turf you out and it is open until around 8pm so you quite often forget the time when you are in there.
The chicken Pesto Panini and the Cheesecake are my favourites. I always stare at the amazing looking chocolate cake but haven’t folded yet but it is only a matter of time!

Review of Primark

Primark?
I am still much undecided what I make of the Primark phenomena! Whilst it is clearly very cheap I sometimes wonder if you are getting value with it. I have bought a few tops that quickly shrink and loose shape when washed.
It’s great for costume jewellery though and the queue always seems to disperse very quickly which is good.
The cleanliness of the store is hit and miss though as some days you feel you are walking in to a dusty jumble sale. This can be very off putting!
You do occasionally find a real bargain though so it is worth popping in just to have a browse!

Great little Italian!
This place is one of my favourites in town.
It is very cosy in here which does usually mean that booking is essential as you really won’t get a place. Also due to its location (near Derngate) allot of people book in here prior to going to a show so get in early to ensure a slot.
The food is a little pricey but it is great if you are planning a really special meal that you don’t mind splashing out on. However the food is so good and the staff are sooooooooo lovely I really didn't mind paying the extra.

Casablance, I dont give a dam this place is great!
I absolutely love this restaurant I am a big fan of Tapas and this is largely due to a friend of mine recommending this restaurant to me.
It has such a cosy atmosphere in the restaurant itself and the staff are always very friendly and attentive.
They are great for evenings out with friends and have even done a fab job in catering for a large group of us (around 15).
There is loads of choice and if you haven’t had tapas before it is a great place to sample it.
Trully lovely night out with great food!

Amazing Food!
This place is absolutely fantastic for food!
When I first went there I was a bit scared by the prices which actually are not bad at all when you consider what you get, a real bargain! I order Prawns for starter and ended up with what looked like 3 whales on my plate, not bad at all!
The staff are always really helpful as well and since the refurbishment there is a really nice bar area upstairs that you can wait in until your table is ready.
I love Italian food and this restaurant certainly doesn't disappoint!

Absolutely Brilliant!
This has to be my absolute favourite place to go for my lunch and more recently a quick pizza in the evening.
The owner is such a lovely guy and the waitress's in there are great. They must have the most fantastic memories as well as they always remember you and your orders.
I have become a bit of a regular in there now but rightly so, when you are treated so well it makes you feel very loyal! GREAT PLACE

Charles Bradlaugh - Quick off the Mark
Never a place you will have to wait to long to get served in so cant be bad! The staff are always very polite.
There is a very nice outside area you can sit in as well which is very handy.
The car park sometimes gets very full though and there is not alot in the way of other options for parking in that location.

Review of Lloyds No. 1 Bar

Average
Lloyds is one of those bars that is fine to go in for a quick drink but if you are going for grub just make sure its not a demanding order, stick to chips!
It seems to take along time to get a drink as well and even though there is a bar upstairs its pointless really as it is never open.
Also I think due to its location and cheapness it must be 'the place to start drinking' for many groups of people going on a night out. If you go straight from work it becomes very loud and packed full of half naked people by about 6.30pmish so if you fancy a quick drink after work make it a quick one, in and out!

Always really helpful!
This isn’t the biggest warehouse by any stretch of the imagination but it is always well laid out.
The staff are absolutely fantastic every time you go in there they ask you what you are looking for and will be full of suggestions, even taking you in to the changing rooms and trying on different variations with you.
They are full of good advice and mix and match ideas that you really wouldn't have thought of!
Sometimes a bit expensive but well worth it if you have a special occasion.

Great Shop!
Topshop is one of my favourite places to shop in Northampton as they regularly update their stock, not always great as sometimes that 'thing' you had every intention of going back and getting has vanished. However great as you aren’t always getting déjà vu.
Also the staff are absolutely lovely and normally always wearing something you want to grab for your own wardrobe and they are more than happy to help you find it if you ask! Also unlike some shops which are all to keen on saying that dreaded phrase, 'if it’s not out on the hanger we don’t have it!' The Topshop staff will always always go and check in the back or ring other stores for you in the area.

Nice Atmosphere
This place is really great for a drink after work especially if you get a couch!
It is always packed during weekends which in Northampton is a good sign all the dives are empty!
Really really nice in here though and you don’t have to wait a life time for a drink even on a busy night, BONUS!

BEST MUSIC MIX!
Northants 96 is a great easy listening station which is really community based. It’s great if you fancy a bit of local knowledge plus a bit of the latest celebrity Goss!
Some great music as well and not forgetting the DJ's!

Fantastic night out!
I have visited this restaurant a couple of times now and it never disappoints! There is a great atmosphere in there whether you are going out for a romantic evening or for a night out with friends. The food is lovely, there is nothing quite like eating your dinner whilst being serenaded by a very sweet man and his guitar. It is quirky and fun without being intimidating or off putting.
