Summer Fun
This pub is awesome in the summer. Everyone sits on the heath with their drinks lapping up the sun. It's very socialable with a great atmosphere - and you're bound to bump into people you know!

Full of young wannabe's
The only decent thing about this place is the fact it's open late. It's full of young wannabe's, all out to be seen and impress. It's a shame because the venue itself is pretty decent with a lovely little beer garden/terrace, and a dance area downstairs.

Decent upmarket bar
The railway is a pretty decent upmarket bar. It's a nice venue with a decent crowd of people. The food is really good - altho along with drinks can be a bit pricey. Would recommend for a girlie night - or on a date.

Disappointing
The pub used to be amazing in it's heyday - but seems to have done down hill over the years. Drinks and food are overpriced and the service is terrible - you'll be stuck at the bar for hours whilst you are countlessly ignored. The toilets are also pretty shambolic - tiny and disgusting. The only positive is the fact that it has a decent beer garden for summer drinking.

Review of Inc Bar

Pretentious yet quirky
This place used to be called the Time Bar - but was revamped and renamed Inc Bar with the help of Laurence Llwellyn Bowen a few years back. It's decor is snazzy with crystals embedded into the bar and good lighting. It's a quirky venue as it has lots of little rooms and areas to go and hang out in which are spread across several floors. They have an array of cocktails but they are very expensive and take ages to make. Main downer is the the people that frequent the place - they are young and pretentious - so ruin what could be a pretty decent place.

Pikey but cheap
This place is just a generic local pub - altho it does seem a little out of place in the suburb of Didsbury; when compared to the standard of most of the bars and pubs in the area. That said I've never come across a palce so cheap! You can an array of pub food for around £3. And whilst it's not gourmet food - it's not half bad! The alcohol is dirt cheap too - you can buy a decent bottle of wine for about £6! Quite how they make money I don't know. I would say if you're skint and wanted to get out of the house then this is the place to come - afterall if you're with friends for the prices you can turn a blind eye to the peeling paint!

Amazing Food
I have been back to this restaurant over and over - and it's my place of choice to take clients for lunch. I think the quality of the food is amazing and have never been disappointed. They also have a fantastic wine list. The service is great and staff are very attentive. I'm yet to have been here for dinner - but is something I look forward to doing.

Review of Big Chill Bar

The place to chill
The Big Chill used to be my local when living in Shoreditch. It's a place with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It has a relaxed crowd of ppl who just come to hang out and catch up. The beauty is the mix of people, froom indie kids, to city follk - all of whom have come to chill. You can rock up in your baggy jeans and feel right at home, whilst lapping up a friendly atmosphere and decent music.
