Review of J D Sports
01 May 07, 18:20
Sports shop
JD Sports sells a large selection of trainers; ones that are actually meant for playing sport in, as opposed to the fashion variety that is commonly sold. JD also sells sports clothes and handy little bits of sports equipment, so it's a good shop to know in your area.

Review of Le Mercury
02 May 07, 14:39
Excellent value french food
Le Mercury is a very popular French restaurant, probably mostly due to it's fantastic prices. There's a choice of about 8 main courses, all priced at £6.50. The food is tasty; it certainly doesn't taste cheap! The wine is good, and there's a pleasant candlelit ambience. However, you might feel slightly like you're being hurried; I guess they must need a lot of covers to make a profit!

Review of Prince Of Wales Theatre
02 May 07, 22:16
Cheesy musical
Mama Mia is a musical based around ABBA songs, rather tenuously I might add. It's a night of cheese and predictable story telling, but it's fun. Located in buzzy Soho it's a good place to see a musical.

Review of KOKO
03 May 07, 18:18
Live music venue
Koko is a relatively new live music venue, but is proving to be exceptionally popluar. If you've into live music it's well worth checking out the monthly listings. The venue is very large, and is more of a club than just a gig venue.

Review of Kenwood House
06 May 07, 15:04
Stately Home
Kenwood is a beautiful old white building situated in Hampstead Heath, that has gorgeous views over the park. There is a quaint cafe, and the main house shows art. A very British place, which makes you feel a hundred miles away from London.

Review of Marks and Spencer

Great supermarket
M & S is a food and clothes shop. This branch also has a cafe. I think M&S' underwear is great; it always fits well and lasts a long time. The food is a real treat, especially the ready meals. I also love their marinated prawns, and their spring rolls.

Review of The Kings Head
09 May 07, 11:30
Pub with live music
King's Head is a very popular pub in Crouch End. The ground floor is a normal pub, but downstairs has room for dancing and there is regular live music put on. The food is really good, but not cheap.

Review of La Porchetta
09 May 07, 15:14
Good value pizza
La Porchetta is a very buzzy Italian restaurant which is rarely not full. It's appeal is in it's simple but tasty pizzas, which are great value. There's always a mixed crowd, fun music and hurrying waiters which creates an animated dining experience. However, there is a very fast turn around, so don't plan on spending an evening there.

Review of Lesley Craze Gallery and Craze Two
10 May 07, 15:50
Contemporary Jewelery
Lesley Craze is a gorgeous shop selling a wide variety of jewelery. The designs are unique and contemporary, although the range is such that you will find something for everyone. All of the jewelery is hand made by a selection of the top modern jewellers around. Perfect for that special gift.

Review of Mambo
10 May 07, 20:28
Surf Shop
Mambo sells clothes that are aimed at teenagers and young adults, both male and female. Designs are very beachy and have a definite surf style. Colours are bright. Prices are very high. If you are looking to take a role as a Baywatch extra this is where I would head first.
