Thresher Wine Shop 
Friendly customer service which creates a local feeling to the shop. The advice on wine is good. They always remind you of offers currently running and try to help as much as possible. They have always had the dinks I have been looking for except when I was looking for interesting miniature bottles for little Christmas gifts, they only had two or three of the usual sprits. Not the cheapest place for wine compared to the supermarkets but if the three for two offer is running it works out the same.

Top Shop 
Fashion heaven. This the flagship store spread over 3 floors. There is all the top shop collection plus concessions for shoes and designer wear. Accessories galore and free water. Get there early as this place fills with tourists by lunchtime. Offers great extras such as personal shoppers

Crew Experience Barber Shop
Firstly, I am using my girlfriends login so it's not a female using a barbers. This is a great place , I can pop in a get a quick hair cut that takes 30mins for £16. Much better than going to unisex salon where I have paid twice as much. The price includes a hair wash in a relaxing massage chair, very mellow. Friendly staff and understood easily what I wanted and cut my hair exactly how I asked. Just been the once so far but will be the place I will be going to from now on. They offer a range of services so if you fancy being pampered or a good hair cut I would recommend this place. The web site is good too, it's easy to see what they offer and book an appointment online.

The Driver 
Good pub for lunch although can be a bit slow. There is also a "restaurant" area to one side. This pub can get very busy and noisy at the weekend. Good pre club bar for Kings Cross.

Good quality Chinese restaurant. Cheap 2 course lunch menu with 2 courses and tea will leave your belly bulging. Quick service from friendly staff for orders and food. Clean modern surroundings. I've always been happy taking lunch here.

The Golden Lion
Good pub for summer lunches when they put on a BBQ on Fridays. Nice and cheep food but quality to match. BBQ is best bet. Cheap drinks too but I suspect this encourages the OAPs who look like they spend more time here than at home , slight Wetherspoon effect! Nice outside area but beware of sticky chairs from tree sap at rear of garden and playground shrieking from the school next door.
