Review of IKEA

That's better
As a Brightonian Ikea Croydon is actually closer to me but it takes less time to get to Lakeside because of the hellish queues on the A23.
Not only that but the Lakeside version just seems a lot more civilised. You can't beat Ikea for good value furniture and other household bits and bobs but lets face it it can be a right mission. At Lakeside though I've never had any trouble parking fairly near the store and find the staff there really helpful and knowledgable. Every trip to Ikea should involve a visit to the cafe...I usually head straight there to set myself up for the mammoth shopping task ahead. I'm normally hungry again by the time I leave so the veggie hotdogs by the exit fill that gap. They do the meat variety too of course but as a veggie I'm not really interested in that!
