After work on a Friday... 
When I was living in Rodbourne I would sometimes visit the pub after work on a Fri, or Sat, Sun. Always a nice atmosphere but probably not for everyone, more of a locals pub. I know the landlord and in the summer he will put on good BBQ's and get a bouncy castle in for the kids.

Can be good....can be bad....
Have used this service for company cabs to be booked......usually excellent service but they can have the odd day off not arriving or ringing you and telling you they are there when they aren't, can get a bit frustrating. But overall definatley a company I used if I was in London as a tourist and needed a cab quickly.

Before and after the Game
Well I go in here most home games before and after and have no probs. It is for home fans only though and wouldn't recommend it for away supporters. Has a big screen and smaller tv's and always has the live footy on and all the scores coming through on match day.

Well being a Swindon Town fan.....what can i say.........I have always visited this ground with my dad and we've always driven. Can get pretty busy trying to get here for a 3.00 kick off due to the city centre traffic ! Quite a walk from the train station too....Never had any trouble though....have to say the away end seats are very very uncomfortable as they have no backs. Always a good loud atmopshere on derby days though !

Quick Lunch time Sarnie
I am surprised at the other 2 reviews, as I have to say I've never had a bad subway sandwich from here. I've always been able to have exactly as I've ordered and everything has been in stock. I do think sometimes though it can be a little overpriced but if you get a meal deal works out at a better price.

Yumm Curry
This is one of my mum and dad's favourite Curry houses. I have been there for lunch and dinner and have never had a bad meal. Do a delicious vegetable curry. Staff are always very helpful. They sometimes even come into GWR FM and bring curry for lunch. Brilliant !

Skating, Swimming, Ice Hockey.....
Been recently, went ice skating on a saturday morning, took my neice and nephew and had a great time. Can get very busy, but great family atmosphere. Also has a large swimming pool where you can go for a leisurley swim or even join a swimming club. Big sports hall, where you can do fitness classes, badminton and even wall climbing....great for kids in the summer holidays.

Wyvern Theatre, Swindon
The Wyvern Theatre in Swindon has recently re opened and has been refurbished. Lots of shows to be seen for all ages. Tickets easy to purchase by phone / or you can pop in. All sorts of shows to be seen, plays, ballets, comedys, even live music. Go on give it a go, a good night could be had.

A small chinese takeaway based in Wroughton near to Swindon. A good choice of meals for all including Vegetarians and a very reasonable price. Free delivery for orders over £10.
