Trendy bar - lots of vodka 
Like all the Revolutions across the country their specialty is Vodka - so if you like your vodka based shots this one for you.
It's quite new too and the decor is top notch with loads of room to sit - even on a busy night.

Friendly newsagent
Yvonne's news is a friendly little news agent on Mansfield road - they know most of their customers by name.
They sell papers, magazines, cigarettes, scratch cards (not national lottery ones though), confectionary etc.
They also offer a delivery service on the papers and magazines.

Good quality cars - reasonable prices
I needed to rent a car for the weekend to go from Bristol to Nottingham and I got a nippy little hatch for £70.
the Service was great and they picked me up and took me down to the forecourt and dropped me back off at work on Monday morning too.

The most relaxing way to get your hair cut 
I was shocked when I first went here to get my haircut, not only were the hairdressers very good but before your hair cut you get a complementary head massage (trust me it's heaven)!
The hairdressers are all really friendly and there's never the awkward silence as they always have something to say.

Not a bad cut 
I'm awful at booking appointments so when I found Peppers and could just walk in and get my hair cut, I was a very happy bunny!
It's not the best hairdresser in Nottingham, but it is cheap(ish) and they do a decent job.

Good Honest Garage
Finding a garage that tells you the truth about how much things cost can be pretty tricky.
Well look no further!
I put my car in there to be repaired they quoted me a figure and came in about £100 under.
I've used them since and they have been really good every time.

Excelent service
I rented with Thomas James for a while when I moved into a new build in the Lace Market.
Unfortunately we had some problems with the flat (the power switches behind the fridge and the dish washer hadn't been turned on before the appliances were fitted) but they not only got it sorted quickly, they also refunded us half of the first months rent.
I'd rent with them again!

Good for a flutter
This Casino is modern, clean and good for a bit of a flutter.
The staff are all very friendly and there are loads of tables and games to play on.
It also does food until about 2 in the morning, and it really is the best food that you will get in Nottingham at that time of the night.
I'd love to give it a 5 star rating but they have taken too much money off of me to give the extra star :O)

Good for a drink in the summer
The Castle is ideal for a quiet drink to relax with in the sunshine.
On really nice days it can be a bit tricky to get a seat outside though.
They do really nice food too, so make sure you check out their menu too.

This has to be one of the chaviest stores in Nottingham - however if you look past that they actually have some really good sports wear and equipment that's really pretty cheap.
