This Tescos has recently become an Extra....they do sell more stuff than a normal Tescos but don't ever go in on a Saturday afternoon, you're looking at half an hour at least waiting at the tills. I've also experienced attitude from the women at the cigarette booth

great for a chill!
This is right in the centre of Bedford's High street and is full of lovely low sofas and chairs, great for a lunchtime drink. In the evenings it attracts an older crowd and sometimes has a dj, that plays dancy music

ok pub !
I've drunk and eaten in this pub, right next to Sainsburys. The food is good, nothing amazing but ok. The place lacks atmosphere and doesn't seem to attract anyone in particular.

smallish Italian restaurant just off the High Street down an alley. Good food, mainly pizza and pasta dishes. Always seems to be busy which is a good sign

Nice enough Italian restaurant with extensive menu - anything you could really want. it's probably Bedford's best known and is always busy. People must keep coming back for a reason - good food - good service

Good for the kids
This farm is pretty interactive and has lots going on, is great on a sunny day. The spring sees feeding lambs and tractor rides, lots of rabbits, gerbils etc and a childrens play area, cafe and gift shop. Worth a visit

If you're visiting Bedford then go to the other TK Maxx on the Interchange Retail Park and give this one a miss! It's not well laid out and seems to be in a bit of a mess!

Bit stuck in the 80's this pine shop is literatly a big warhouse stuffed full of pine furniture which you have to clamber over....give it a miss !

Not bad!
This hotel is lovely and central for Bedford and attracts lots of mid week business people. the decor is a little garish though. However I was suprised at the food, good quality

a nice place but I've seen better
Kind of old fashioned place, bit 80's decor with vines on the ceilings but if you want a fairly cheap and cheerful dinner then it's fine! The menu is extensive which could work for and against - too much choice but great if you're unsure of what you want!

Having visited on several occasions this cinema is good, one of the larger cineworlds I've been too, however it does get very big queues so get your tickets early and then head down for a drink in the whitehouse downstairs

good pub....
at the top of the busy high street, this is a large weatherspoons pub. Always busy during the day attracting shoppers and students, the food is good, honest british pub grub at cheap prices. Busy at the weekends, but empties out at about 11.30pm

my local shopping centre
It depends what you want really, if you just want to fly in quickly and pick something up in a rush, the Arndale is great but if you're looking to make more of a day of it, then Milton Keynes is much better. You've got the usual, Debenhams, Boots, Woolies etc and good ladies clothes shops

Plenty of choice with 4 rooms of different music and a chill out bar and exclusive champagne bar ! This is the main club in Bedford. Slightly out of the main high street area but worth a visit

This Weatherspoons pub used to be a brill meeting place, as they had no music so you could actually have a conversation ! Now, they've become a Lloyds bar, suiting to what the masses want, I stay well clear. The clientel on a Fri and Sat night are mainly v young and the music is v loud !!

Good mix
This is one of my favourite pubs in Luton. I've always liked the fact that it's not full of kids and seems to attract an older clientel. Just lately though they seem to be trying to attract the younger market with the playlist and it seems to be more a younger persons place
