good cinema 
Having visited on several occasions this cinema is good, one of the larger cineworlds I've been too, however it does get very big queues so get your tickets early and then head down for a drink in the whitehouse downstairs

really good pub 
Try this place in the evenings, especially at the weekends, it's a town pub and get quite busy, lovely inside, low beamed sealings and plays excellent late 90's dance music, ideal for 25-35's

good night out!
I used to be in this club every weekend in my 20's. It's not glamorous inside but it's full of 25 - 40's (no kids) There's two rooms, one playing upto date stuff and a room downstairs playing 70's and 80's.....Brilliant!

Good choice
lovely garden centre just off the A1 at the Black Cat roundabout. Independant, the owners really care about it and have recently put in a restaurant which serves lovely home cooked food....

Lovely food !
I've visited this lovely restaurant 3 or 4 times now and the food is exceptional ! They offer great simple pasta dishes up to lovely steak or fish and some great wine choices.

If you're looking for a proffesional, affordable place to get your pooch crimped, cleaned, clipped and generally spoilt, this is the place! With 3 branches accross Herts and Beds, Langford, Kempston and Letchworth, they're easily accessable.

great service
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They offer all things processing, from a couple of photo's upto 500. They also do enlargements, portraits, printing of tshirts, mousemats etc....basically if you want it printing, they do it....at a reasonable price too!

good pub....
at the top of the busy high street, this is a large weatherspoons pub. Always busy during the day attracting shoppers and students, the food is good, honest british pub grub at cheap prices. Busy at the weekends, but empties out at about 11.30pm

reliable taxi's
I've used this company 4 or 5 times and they've always been punctual and pleasant. The standard of the cars is also quite high. 01234 212122. Probably one of the largest taxi firms in Bedford

Bedford's shopping experience is a bit all over the place. The Harpur Centre is the only indoor bit. It's a little 80's and the shop choice isn't great
