good food 
smallish Italian restaurant just off the High Street down an alley. Good food, mainly pizza and pasta dishes. Always seems to be busy which is a good sign

good all rounder
Nice enough Italian restaurant with extensive menu - anything you could really want. it's probably Bedford's best known and is always busy. People must keep coming back for a reason - good food - good service

a nice place but I've seen better
Kind of old fashioned place, bit 80's decor with vines on the ceilings but if you want a fairly cheap and cheerful dinner then it's fine! The menu is extensive which could work for and against - too much choice but great if you're unsure of what you want!

Lovely food ! 
I've visited this lovely restaurant 3 or 4 times now and the food is exceptional ! They offer great simple pasta dishes up to lovely steak or fish and some great wine choices.
