Average hostel 
You always know where you are with a YHA: they're all the same. With the blue them and standard dorm rooms YHAs are certainly functional, but I reckon they are a bit dull. I'd rather stay somewhere a bit different.

Diverse range of films 
The NFT shows a diverse array of films that you can't see anywhere else in London. The NFT shows modern films, world cinema and also lots of very old films. Prolific film makers regularly give talks at the NFT too. The prices are very reasonable for such evenings.

Famous bagels
This bagel shop is infamous. It is open 24 hours a day and sells the freshest, tastiest bagels around. For the full experience try a bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Ok pub, good meeting place.
This is a strange pub , it is huge, with loads of different areas and rooms. It's a good first pub of the evening, as its right next to Camden tube and so an easy place to meet. The clientele is a strange mixture of Camden indie kids, teenagers, travelers and older men who clearly enjoy their beer. There's a fun atmosphere though, especially on the weekend. The World's End doesn't try to be something it isn't , it's very happy being a slightly run down big old pub.

Good chemist 
Superdrug sells the usual range of perfumes, make up of different brands and toiletries. Everything you need from a chemist. Prices are cheaper than it's rival Boots.

Alternative club
This is a very popular alternative club, which is pretty famous in some circles. Expect varied music and lots of slightly strange people dressed up in all sorts of colours and shapes. It's cheap and a bit grimy, but perfect if you're looking for a typical Camden night out.

Retro style bowling alley
This is an American retro style bowling alley. There is also a full bar and diner style restaurant. It's a really fun experience; a bit more interesting than your standard ten pin bowling.
