Review of La Piazza

The best restaurant in Hove 5*

This restaurant is my favourite of any in Brighton and Hove. They make the best Mozarella in Carozza I have ever had, and the staff are lovely and friendly.

Review of Java Cafe

Voluntary Run Internet Cafe 5*

This cafe is situated in Woodingdean and is a great meeting place for the local community. It is run by volunteers who give up their time to help people by serving them great food, or help them use a computer. They hold regular computer classes for begginers and the more experienced. The cafe is directed by the local councillor Dee Simson, who also holds regular youth workshops in the cafe on a Friday evening. These sessions encourage young people to stay off the streets on a friday evening. They can come in and use the computers for free, speak to the local youth workers and buy cut-price food and drinks. A fantastic place!!!!

Review of Empire Tandoori

16 Apr 08, 20:53

Indian takeaway 4*

This takeaway is situated on Lewes Road in Brighton and is excellent value for money. The food is good and very cheap, a curry and rice will cost you aproximately £6!!! The potato pakora is really lovely, and the Chicken Madras is very good! Would definately reccomend!

Review of Oliver's Sandwich Bar

Legendary Chicken & Mayo 5*

Mmmmmm, I love Olivers! I'm hungry just thinking about it! The ladies who work in Olivers are absolutely lovely, always chatting away to the customers. I go in there almost every lunchtime for a chicken & mayo roll with lettuce, tomato & cheese! Really lovely clean, cheap place with LOADS of choice and speedy smiley service!

Review of Oceana

16 Apr 08, 21:01

Party Central! 5*

I am a huge Oceana fan, my friends and I are in there pretty much every Saturday without fail, and occasionaly several nights in the week! The club has a really good vibe to it with lots of different bars and rooms. The music varies from room to room, with the main 'Ice Bar' playing the latest chart music. The disco room plays lots of cheese and old-skool tunes! Love it! Oh, I almost forgot, you can buy a glass of wine on any night for £1.90!!

Review of Tesco Stores

16 Apr 08, 21:05

Typical Tesco 2*

This Tesco is no better/worse than any other but I am not really a Tesco fan! The one thing you can guarantee in this shop is that there will ALWAYS be a queue, no matter what time of day it is! The staff are quite good but always freezing cold. Once I dropped a jar of pasta sauce on the floor and it smashed, one lady moaned at me but most of them found it as highly amusing as I did! Do NOT under any circumstances buy CHICKEN from here as it is always, EVERY TIME....OFF!!!!

Review of ShakeAway

18 Apr 08, 19:15

Oreo Milkshake! With extra Oreos! 5*

I looooooove Shakeaway. It is such a brilliant idea, wish I had thought of it. Unfortunately I didnt as Im not that bright. The only negative about Shakeaway is that it is soooo popular that there is normally a massive queue so you have to wait AGES! I love their Oreo Milkshakes, with extra mini oreas. Jules and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Review of Walkabout Inn

18 Apr 08, 19:20

Good Light Hearted Fun! 4*

Walkabout is a really popular 'West Street' venue! It doesn't have the typical West Street vibe to it, as most of the people in there are just out to have a laugh. They have Snakebite which is always worth a laugh, especially after 8 pints. The best thing about Walkabout is that it is opposite.....OCEANA!!!!

Review of Frankie & Benny's

18 Apr 08, 19:24

Quick, Easy and Tasty 4*

Frankie & Bennys is a great place to go for dinner on a Weekend. It has something for everyone and their food is usually really good. I like their Garlic Bread as it is the size of a pizza!! They are located in Brighton Marina, so you have loads of other bars etc nearby! If it is your birthday, they bring you a little dessert with a sparkler in and play a silly sing. Gets a bit annoying after a while but thats because Im usually a misery.
