while away the time 
whenever me and the kids are at a loose end we always end up at the Vue cinema.
The seats are comfy, the screens massive and the queues short which are all a good thing. On the downside though, the prices are astronomical, for tickets and food i can easily spend £40 and the staff don't seem to give a crap, they barely look at you when they serve you......maybe they're ashamed of the prices!

bhaji brilliant! 
The service here is one of the best i have ever recieved!
Regardless of whether i'm eating in or picking up, they treat me wonderfully with little extras, chefs specials and the odd bottle of wine to make my evening even more complete. Not to forget, the food is gorgeous, in fact just writing about it makes me want to order it tonight. check out their website first or else you'll spend ages deciding what you want x

Yum!
If you're in Plymouth you must have an Ivor Dewdney pasty, it's practically compulsory! They are as important a part of Plymouth as the lighthouse! Enjoy a traditional or an excellent chees and onion...my favourite!
And don't worry if you're just visiting, there'll deliver them anywhere!

Review of Woodlands Leisure Park

any weather fun! 
Although it was raining on the day we went we all still had a great time.
We ran for shelter in the big blue barn and the kids (and us) played to our hearts content on the slides and rides. We left there to run to Master Blaster where we enjoyed targetting each other and aiming for each others heads! Eventually the cluds parted and we could get to where we wanted to go.......the water rides! We ended up wetter than when it was raining! as well as seeing the new farm and the sea dragon ride, we ended up leaving throughly exhausted but content!

Review of Pennywell Devons Farm & Wildlife Centre

getting up close
Pennywell is lovely from the moment you walk through the door you can pick up a duckling, stroke a piglet or have aguinea pig curled up in your lap! Throughout the day there's so much activities happening, even though the day we went it was INCREDIBLY windy, we still took shelter in the barns feeding the lambs, watching the entertainer and handled a hedgehog! The only downside with Pennywell is that it is now very expensive so we can't go as often as we'd like but definitely a brilliant day out!

Review of Lloyds TSB Bank

I've always avoided going into town to use the bank if i can help it, but Lloyds seems to have calmed down a lot.
Ok, there's still big queues and ok, you still can't use the pens properly if you're left handed (the chain doesn't reach across properly!) but it all seems to be a lot clearer and quicker in there recently.

family night out
Bella Italia is the ideal family restaurant! There's no screaming kids, the tables aren't made out of plastic and they even trust you with real glass on the table so, for the grown ups it feels like a normal restaurant but for the little ones they get a great toy to play with, lovely food to choose from and if they're lucky...a big dessert afterwards! The staff here are so nice and accomodating and nothing is to much trouble, they also seem really enthuiastic about being there which is lovely.

Brilliant
What a wonderful day out for all the family!
I hadn't been for years but one wet and windy day i decided to take the kids over and we spent the most magical afternoon there!
Explorocean is so much fun, where you're actually driving the diving stuff yourself and the kids loved walking through the tunnel with the fish swimming above you.
All in all, an absolutely fantastic day out x

The service at this Pizza Hut is so dreadful after an hour we still hadn't eaten!
There was 8 of us including 4 small children turning up one night at about 7, the place was quite empty so we got seated really quickly, all good, or so we thought!
After 30 minutes we asked were our starters coming out, 'in a minute' we're told, 20 minutes later, with kids really restless we asked again and were told that our order hadn't even been made! The manager didn't apologise, but just told us that he was really busy and short staffed so if we'd just wait ANOTHER 20 min we'd be fed, obviously we walked straight out, went home and order Dominos!

Review of Post Office

I had to use the large post office in town recently, on a Saturday!, and to be honest, felt rather daunted by it as we all know that town on a Saturday can be a nightmare! But i was pleasantly surprised at how organised and refreshing it was at the Post Office! Although the queue was quite long, it took a remarkably short time to get through and once at the counter the staff were extremely helpful. Whilst waiting one of the mangers was chatting to me saying that they would soon be undertaking a refurbishment to make it even easier. All in all, although it's a large Post Office i felt that it still retains the quaintness that we have all come to know and love from the Post Office!
