Great chill out spot 5*

Really good roast, nice little garden to sit outside, really friendly staff and a great comfortable atmosphere. Really near the City farm too if you want to take the kids.

Great all round pub 5*

Yummy food, great to sit outside and a nice place to see live music. Ther4e's two floors - downstairs for the live music and outside seating area, upstairs for the more relaxed drinking sessions.

Great summer place 4*

A big bar which has live music now and then, an area to dance and a massive outside seating area to look over over the docks. A real seas-side feel to the place.

Nice little Irish bar 3*

A really nice little irish bar with friendly staff. It's really easy to get to - on the corner of the high street and just down from a taxi rank. Have had many laughs in here.

Friendly staff 4*

Comfy sofas, cheap drinks and friendly staff. Downstairs is for the older drinkers, while upstairs has more of a studenty atmosphere. A good place for a lunchtime drink or evening session.

A fun night out 4*

It's always packed in here - which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you're after. There's also poles for the girls (or boys) to show off their skills (usually not very good and you might catch a glimpse of a very drunk girl showing her pants). A must if you're on a pub crawl in the seaside town though.

Great country pub 4*

A really nice place to go whether you've walked here - there's great countryside around here - or just popped along for a quiet drink. There's a lovely garden for the summer time and a log fire for the winter. I usually use this place for girlie catch-up time.

Lovely country food 4*

Staff are always friendly, food is good and menu is always yummy. This place might be in the country, just outside Cheddar, but it's always rammed at the weekends so book up in advance if you want to try it.

Smelly loos 2*

The thing that over-powered me when I walked into the pub was the smell of the toilets.

But the drinks were cheap - although you felt a bit like you were intruding into local land.

But there's a TV in there to watch the football, the service was speedy, there was comfy seats and loads of parking.

All you can ask for 4*

I love this pub. It's easy to find, got a great menu and if you're in the mood for lasagne be prepared to take some home with you. It is HUGE. It's always a popular choice - botht eh pub and the lasagne. And you can sit outside in the summer too - lovely.

Lovely food 3*

Lovely food here. It really is a tasty adventure. And the decor is lovely. And friendly staff. But it's not the nice little country pub it used to be where you'll see the locals popping in for a quick drink. It's more of a 'special occasion' type place.
