**THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT**
Fans of indian cuisine will be disappointed by this place because they are NOT a restaurant. This is important to understand because the name is very misleading. However I was surprised to find a very well stocked ELECTRICAL SHOP instead with a great selection of the latest kit including some really clever stuff you never knew you needed until you discover it. Like a little FM transmitter for my iPod and digital photo frames. Get down and tikka chance on some hot tech, I reckon!

Review of Midsummer Place Shopping Centre

The Fashionable Quarter
Wow - if you love fashion you will adore this place. It's got loads of shops with all the latest trends. I'm not that trendy though so I just like the big tree in the middle and the concrete cows which are something you must see if you're visiting Milton Keynes. My favourite shops are the amazing new Apple shop - all white and modernist with some amazing kit that I wish I could afford. And the pretzel shop which does superyummy pretzels. And the amazing mechanical clock which has golden orbs which eerily roll along a track... hard to explain but worth checking out - your kids will be transfixed.

Review of Jurys Inn

Posh without the Price
For the quality of this hotel you'd expect it to be prohibitively expensive but think again cowboy, it's actually not that expensive. Granted, it's a bit more than your Linton Travel Lodge but you certainly get what you pay for and in this case it's not to be sniffed at. My favourite bits are the restaurant on the ground floor and the fantastic view of the Hub central piazza from the conference rooms at the back of the Jury's Inn.

Review of BP Service Stations

Wild Bean? You betcha!
I actually look forward to filling my tank when it's somewhere like this BP service station. The reason being that it's a chance to go to the Wild Bean Cafe where they do amazing fresh pastrties and coffee (if you like that sort of thing). They also have a huge selection of magazines and really dont mind how long you stand there reading them. The only thing that spoils my visit is when I have to pay for the fuel but it's no more expensive than anywhere else.

Review of Gunmakers At The Royal Armouries

All Guns Blazing!
Many have criticised this place for promoting war. Personally, I absolutely LOVE seeing all the guns (I'm a big fan of firearms) and I think learning about history puts current conflicts in context. Plus it's a good way of teaching children what war is all about and hopefully persuading them to sign up for the army to fight for our great country. Top marks for a top place!

Currytastic
If you love quality indian food but also want to go somewhere a bit posh this is a great place to head. The food can't be faulted but the real difference is the modern decor - definitely not what you expect from a curry restaurant. And the quality of staff and service is second to none. It's great to have a place that can deliver quality indian food and great levels of service at the same time. First class!

C'est Formidable
This is a true taste of France - step inside and you're transported to those charming Parisien eateries that make the lasting memories of your gallic holidays.
With favourites like Steak Frites, Cotelettes D'Agneau and of course Les Escargots if you fancy trying some snails - actually really tasty and garlicy if you give it a go.
Friendly and helpful staff, great food and a lovely atmosphere if slightly pricey.

Review of Marcello's Ristorante & Pizzeria

La Dolce Vita
There are lots of Italian restaurants in MK so why go here? Well, the lunchtime offers are really good - cheap pizza and pasta. Also, it's just been refurbed so it's really nice inside. And all the food's freshly made on site. There's a pretty authentic Italian feel to the place and the food doesn't disappoint. It's open 12pm - 2.30pm for lunch mon-fri, and 5.30pm - 10pm every day for evening meals except Sunday when it's closed. Worth a try, without a doubt.

Review of Willen Lakes
18 Apr 08, 13:07
Great place for angling
Willen Lake is made up of two lakes with a total of 150 acres so it's easily the biggest place to fish in Milton Keynes. It's a great place if you're serious about fishing with tench over 8lb, some really big bream, 30lb pike and rudd, roach and perch all weighing over 2lb.
The north lake also has plenty of carp and at least one cat.
The south lake also has some really big fish but also includes roach and skimmers.
Both of the lakes are open throughout the year, but watch out because the keep nets might not be there during the traditional close season.
