Pukka Chippy 
This is a nice chippy - they're so friendly they always make me laugh and the food's super yummy - check out the cod - it's fried to perfection and the mushy peas are legendary. Best to go at lunchtime or evenings because sometimes I'm slightly suspicious of how long the fish have been left in the hot display but no real reason to recommend against this place. You wont be disappointed.

Not just for art buffs 
Even if you wouldnt consider yourself an art fan, you need to experience MK Gallery. It's actually really accessible and you might be surprised how much you enjoy it. They regularly change the exhibitions so it's worth checking their website to see what's on, but I have been really impressed and challenged by some of the works I have seen there. Well worth a visit and with it being free admission you'd need a good reason not to!
