Review of Pizza Hut

Handy for the Odeon
This is a great Pizza Hut for movie fans. Next door to the Odeon multiplex at Sandbrook Park in Rochdale, just at the top of A627M, they do a deal where your receipt gets you a discount at the cinema. What more excuse do you need to stuff yourself on deep pan delights?

Review of The Regal Moon

Nothing Special
It's a nice bar on the Butts which is a big pedestrian square in the middle of rochdale, where they often have continental markets and used to have an ice rink at christmas so it's a lovely place to go for some liquid refreshment after you've been shopping or doing some other activity in the town centre. Friendly, relatively cheap and easy to find.

Brilliant Pub Grub
This is a great place to come for lunch. It's on the main road into manchester so you have to drive there really so there's not many drunks in here and the decor is amazing - loads of old wooden wagon wheels on the walls, exposed oak beams and the right level of lighting so you feel like you've stepped back in time to a nice country pub a few hundred years ago. Upstairs is a restaurant area where they serve really nice food at reasonable prices.

Review of Liquid Rock

Amazingly Still Open??
I'm always amazed that this club is still in business! Desperately in need of a refurb it limps on with its sticky carpeted 80's 'ritzy' styling and probably still attracts the same people who came in the 80s. It's unpretentious, cheap and easy to get to - dont be surprised if you feel the urge to dance around your handbag! But if you just want a simple cheesy night out then it's absolutely fine

Review of Bar 5

Not too big but very trendy
This is a nice bar on the town square area called The Butts in Rochdale, It's quite trendy with a water feature wall behind the bar which looks really cool and a good selection of drinks and cocktails but the chairs are a bit uncomfortable - they're like metal patio furniture- and it's a bit cluttered cos it's relatively small inside but it's nice to sit outside and watch the world go by in the early evening twilight or as the start of a session before heading up the hill to liquid rock

Review of Yates's Wine Lodge

And Wine Not?
Situated on The Butts in Rochdale, this Yates's looks small from the outside but it's in a weird L shaped design which comes out at the other side down the side street. Inside it's spacious but slightly tatty and never seems to get particularly busy but the karaoke nights are great (I am supposedly barred because my rendition of the 10 minute version of American Pie emptied the bar a few years ago, but I think they've forgotten now).
