Review of Westminster Abbey

Big church 4*

Westminster Abbey is breathtaking inside and for someone with no religious beliefs it was a humbling experience for me, seeing the place where Diana was married and laid to rest and being in the presence of so much history - dont dismiss this place just because you're not religious. It's amazing. And free.

Review of London Eye Co

Just their offices 3*

This is just the business address of the London Eye company - you need to go to the actual London Eye at the side of the Thames if you want to ride on it!

Review of British Airways London Eye

Vertigo 4*

Hello Hello! I was ironically listening to U2 on my iPod while I went up on this thing and it was pretty scary if I'm honest, because the pods are really clear glass so you feel like you're floating. Very smooth, very slow, and very expensive this is one big wheel you'll only go on once and they put lots of people in each car so it's not very private either.

Review of The Houses Of Parliament

This Is The Real Deal 4*

There is a public gallery in parliament where you can watch debates actually happen. Apparently there are also about a dozen bars inside which explains a lot. Whether you are lucky to venture inside or just admiring the amazing archetecture this is one place that should be on every London tourist's agenda. Makes you proud.

Review of 10 Downing Street

You Wont Get Anywhere Near It 1*

If you want to check this place out the best plan is to start off in local politics, then work your way up through your local labour or conservative society to become an MP then maybe one day you will be elected. I wouldnt choose the LibDem route though. Seriously, you cant get near this place - especially in the current climate of terrorism... there's a massive gate at one end of the street so I would definitely not recommend it to tourists. Check out Big Ben and the Houses Of Parliament instead.

What Lies Beneath 5*

I took my girlfriend here and we had a lovely day out. Tickets are a bit pricey and it doesnt open late which is a real shame because it meant we had to rush round but it's amazing to see the view from under the water through the windows. It's as if you're deep sea diving in the most amazing tropical waters. And seeing sharks and stingrays without the danger is something everyone should experience in their lifetime.

Review of Big Ben

Big Clock 3*

Seriously, why would you need to read a review of Big Ben?

OK, the first thing you learn is that the bell is called Big Ben and not the clock.

Once you get over the excitement of this it is actually really cool to see it - it looks just like on the telly, and you feel like you're really in London. Which you are.

The best view of it is coming over tower bridge with the thames in the foreground.

I would say it's definitely my favourite Clock Of The World. And the chimes have a satisfyingly rich tone. Quite loud too if you're stood underneath and it's chime time.
