The Shop 16 High Street, Johnstown 
This is the only remaining Corner Shop in the old part of the village. They sell a little bit of everything including the recent addition of fresh fruit and vegetables. If you mention a product to them, they will do their best to get it in for you. It also sells a good variety of magazines and all the daily and weekend newspapers. It seems to be open every day of the year but maybe they do shut on Christmas Day! The ladies who work in the shop are all very friendly and helpful and always know what is going on in the area.
