Review of Nandos

Chicken and chips
I love Nando's. It's just so simple: what more could you want than loads of chicken and chips? It's cheap and quick and very filling. The American style bottomless soft drinks and frozen yogurt are also great.

Review of Gallipoli

Excellent Turkish restaurant
Gallipoli, along with it's sister restaurants Gallipoli Again and Gallipoli Bazaar, serves up a great meal. The menu is Turkish and very reasonably priced. The starter 'meze' is a must have. The staff are friendly, the wine cheap and the atmosphere fantastic, especially at the weekends. The restaurants are decked out with innumerable Turkish lamps, trinkets and hanging things. If you go there for a birthday, be prepared for a song courtesy of the waiters and dancing on tables. The Gallipolis are among the best quality, value and fun restaurants in London.

Review of The Angelic

Lovely gastro pub
I love the Angelic, with its high ceilings, good wine and old oak tables. It's a very relaxing yet smart pub/bar/restaurant. Perfect place for meeting up with an old friend for a good gossip. The two floors ensure that you can always get a seat.

Review of Whistles

Beuatiful clothes
I like to ogle the clothes in the windows of this shop. You see I could never afford to buy them, but they are gorgeous. Very up to date but also timeless and very classy.

Review of Quirinale
04 May 07, 20:44
Amazing Food no Pomp
I went to Quirinale with my parents, the fact of the matter is I can't afford their prices but I wish I could. Quirnale is modern Italian underneath the streets of Westminster that not only serves incredibly good food, but also does it without the pomp of other top notch restaurants. I read somewhere that Westminster has bad restaurants because MPs are too busy talking to notice the food. That rule doesn't apply to this place.

Review of Old Spitalfields Market
03 May 07, 13:45
Amazing indoor market
I love Spitalfields. On the grounds of an old hospital, Spitalfields is a large indoor market selling everything from handmade clothes to pottery to art. Each stall is unique and, although expensive, definitely worth splashing out on. Have a break in the middle of your trip, and enjoy food from one of the reasonably priced stalls serving Chinese, Indian and other world food. Sunday is the best day to go, when all of the shops and stalls are open.
