Review of ONeills

Irish bar
O'Neills is quite a dressing down sort of bar. It serves food and shows sport on big TVs. At the weekend it gets very busy and people dance a lot. Very mainstream and not really my cup of tea.

Review of Le Sacre Coeur

Fantastic French Food
Sacre Coeur is a small, intimate French restaurant just of Angel's Upper Street. It serves up delicious, rich French food, having a separate lunch and dinner menu. The french onion soup is a must have, and the steak-frites is delicious. Washed down with a caraffe of very good value french wine, it is possibly the ideal meal. The atmosphere is quite romantic, but definitely relaxed. One of my favourite restaurants.

Review of OQO

Excellent cocktails
OQO is a relatively recent addition to Angel's numerous bars, and stands out from the crowd due to it's excellent cocktails. The range is extensive, and the friendly waiters are always on hand to help with the all-important decision of which cocktail to choose. Even better, they are happy to create any cocktail that you ask for, if their menu does not include your favourite. OQO also serves Chinese Tapas (a posh way of describing spring rolls and chicken skewers) which is tasty but not cheap. You'll love OQO if you've got a taste for exciting cocktails and fancy a treat, but not if you're watching the pennies and don't appreciate fresh ginger and pomegranite in your beverages.

Review of Preposterous Presents
08 May 07, 15:17
Fancy dress and joke presents
Preposterous Presents is ideal for joke gifts and accessories. The range of little tricks (like soap that makes your hands black) is great, and there are also loads of games and fancy dress items, like masks and fairy costumes. The amouunt of rude presents is enough to keep you laughing for hours, and the birthday cards are hilarious.

Review of Sausage and Mash Cafe

Sausage and Mash
Quite simply the best sausage and mash you will ever eat. S&M's interior is American diner style, with quirky details. The menu comprises of every conceivable type of sausage, a few types of mash, and a few types of gravy. This mix and match style of ordering ensures you get exactly what you want. My personal favourite is the toad in the hole. The coffee is also great. S&M gets very busy at the weekend, so call ahead for a table. The service is great and the food reasonably priced. Without fail my friends and I visit S&M following every heavy night out, and it's the best hangover cure I've come across!
