Installed my central heating 
My flat had no central heating when I bought it and Bird installed it for me. They did an excellent job, very professional and considerate. They were also about 3-thousand pounds cheaper than British Gas!

Review of Oyster Fishery Company Restaurant

Great seafood/fish restaurant
The restaurant has the feel of a big airy trendy indoor market, just with tables instead of stalls. The food is really delicious fish and seafood. It isn't cheap, it's a treat kind of place not an everyday restaurant. I had some warm peaches with mascapone which I have to say was one of the most simple but delicious deserts I have ever tasted.

Great sunsets
I really love this pub on a Sunny evening after work. Sit and enjoy a beer and watch the sunset over the Isle Of Sheppy. It's nothing impressive inside, but you're paying to sit practically on the beach and enjoy a beer.

Invicta Tandoori rocks!
Invicta Tandoori is a regular haunt for celebs from the excellent Invicta FM. The staff here are SO friendly and they remember what you have and how you like it cooked. It's the best curry house in Whitstable... okay not worth a journey if you live elsewhere but if you're in the Bubble and fancy a balti pop in.

Right in the centre of the bubble... 
... Whitstable aka the bubble is a very trendy seaside town and this is a nice friendly pub right in the town centre. They do great sandwiches but I've never eaten anything hot here. If the weather is good though, there isn't anywhere much to sit the beer garden out the back is more like a beer yard.

I was considering buying a Mazda... 
... not anymore. I thought cars salesmen were suppose to be pushy!? The guy I saw at Rivervale Cars in Portslade was SO not interested in selling me a car it was painful. I don't know whether he decided I wasn't serious or something, but I was serious. In the end he gave me the keys to a Mazda MX5 and told me to go for a test drive on my own! To quote Pretty Woman "Big mistake, big mistake!"

I've been having my car serviced here for years
I've been having my car serviced here for years but I'm not sure why!? They always do a fairly good job... but I can't really recommend them 'cos they never go above and beyond and they charge for topping up your screen wash!!?! WHAT!

Good customer service but not much stock
The staff in Portslade post office in Station road are very friendly and helpful, particularly if you don't know what size your letter is (who does nowdays) However, the shop is pretty rubbish. They sell some really odd old fashioned stuff and don't have much stock. Plus they often have a queue out of the door 'cos it gets so busy with old people.

The best New Look in the UK
Okay so I haven't been in all the New Look's in the whole of the UK. But of those I've been in (loads!?) this is the best one. It's is gigantic and in particular it's shoe department is to die for - they do fantastic leather shoes at such a bargain price you can afford to get more than one pair in different colours. I don't agree the shop floor is overcrowed, not in comparision to the one in Brighton for example.

Phish food icecream - best flavour ever
Ben and Jerry's mantra is "If it's not fun don't do it" couldn't agree more boys! Their Phish Food icecream is what heaven would taste like if you mixed it with marshmallow and added little dark chocolate fishes.
