Review of Kenwood House

Featured in Notting Hill don't you know
Kenwood House featured in Notting Hill... the bit where Julia Roberts is filming a period drama and Hugh Grant turns up to see her and then hears her describing him as a nobody to a fellow actor.
The best bit about Kenwood is the cafe, with it's fab courtyard, which can be crowded on a sunny summer weekend... but is brilliant if you catch it on a fairly quiet day. It's a bit pricey, but no more so than lots of other London cafes I suppose.

Review of The Spaniards Inn

Once you've walked round Kenwood/Hampstead Heath
Once you've worked up a thirst tramping round Kenwood Estate or Hampstead Heath this a great pub to stop and refresh. Not just Dick Turpin, it's also believed Charles Dickens would pop in for a pint too! It has a great garden, which is lit up with night lights and feels all romantic and otherworldy after dark.

Review of The Flask

Star spot - Chris Evans
The Flask is a really good pub, with a great drinks and food menu. Sounds odd, but if you've got to the go the Royal Free for any reason and need a drink to steady your nerves before hand or celebrate afterwards I would really recommend a visit. It is fab in the winter with the fire. But also great in the summer 'cos the garden is large and sunny. There's a mixed clientele everyone from Chris Evans and failed members of Big Brother to yummy mummys and city slickers.
