Review of Tea & Times

Amazing sandwiches
Tea and times does amazing sandwiches to take away. They are bulging with delicious fillings and neatly wrapped in wax paper. I really recommend one when you can't stomach another tesco sarnie for lunch. I have also eaten in here a couple of times and it has a lovely chilled out vibe. My only criticism, I once saw a member of staff put their finger in the custard and eat it to "just check it's not off" - yuck!

Review of Birdies-Baudemont Foods

Whitstable is full of great restaurants - this is one of the best
Why?... because the decor, staff and food are all fantastic. It's got a lovely vibe, great old wooden tables and lots of candles. The food is excellent, lots of fresh seafood and some really yummy deserts - the Whitstable Mess is highly recommended. It also wins big points for serving warm bread... what is it about warm bread..? it just makes you feel happy to eat it.

Review of Zizzi

Great location
Zizi's is a fairly good chain of Italian restaurants - which do some lovely pizzas and this no exception. However, this branch wins for location... it's right in the heart of Whitstable (which is a lovely seaside town) in a new development next to the sea. I just feel sorry for the people who live above it.

Review of Long Reach Beefeater

Typical Beefeater
This is an average beefeater which we used to go to after work, til we found somewhere better! It's right near the Thanet Way so it's very handy and it does have a huge beer garden... but it's not got a great atmosphere being next to a travel lodge.

Review of Oyster Fishery Company Restaurant

Great seafood/fish restaurant
The restaurant has the feel of a big airy trendy indoor market, just with tables instead of stalls. The food is really delicious fish and seafood. It isn't cheap, it's a treat kind of place not an everyday restaurant. I had some warm peaches with mascapone which I have to say was one of the most simple but delicious deserts I have ever tasted.

Review of Old Neptune

Great sunsets
I really love this pub on a Sunny evening after work. Sit and enjoy a beer and watch the sunset over the Isle Of Sheppy. It's nothing impressive inside, but you're paying to sit practically on the beach and enjoy a beer.

Review of Invicta Tandoori

Invicta Tandoori rocks!
Invicta Tandoori is a regular haunt for celebs from the excellent Invicta FM. The staff here are SO friendly and they remember what you have and how you like it cooked. It's the best curry house in Whitstable... okay not worth a journey if you live elsewhere but if you're in the Bubble and fancy a balti pop in.

Review of The Duke of Cumberland

Right in the centre of the bubble...
... Whitstable aka the bubble is a very trendy seaside town and this is a nice friendly pub right in the town centre. They do great sandwiches but I've never eaten anything hot here. If the weather is good though, there isn't anywhere much to sit the beer garden out the back is more like a beer yard.
