Fantastic location right on Pagham Harbour 
Go for a long summers walk around Pagham Harbour, spot a heron or three and then go and have dinner at the Crab and Lobster. It is a small intimate gastro pub. Not a good one if you just want a drink, unless you want to sit in the garden. They serve excellent locally sourced food, lots of fab fish. I particularly recommend the fish stew. They also serve delicious elaborate deserts. They have some rooms upstairs, but I've not stayed so I can't comment.

Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve
Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve is an excellent spot for walks and bird watching with some great hides. The Reserve covers 1500 acres, about half of which is saltmarsh and mudflats, while the rest is lagoons, reedbeds and shingle beaches. The views are gorgeous and even looks good on a grey dull day. The visitors centre has very informative displays and often has work by local artists. They sell books and guides on birds and the local area. There is also a 24 hr toilet block.
