Caribbean food 
Places where you can find decent quality food and health care products for the ethnic community are few and far between. Food sources that you'd be hard pushed to find in supermarkets, and hair products to deal with black hair, you will find them all here.

Pop in... 
This is a relatively new shop along St Giles Street, but one of a kind. It has all sorts of weird and wonderful foods, the sort you can make up as a basket and give as a present to your fellow foodie friends. Its not over priced either which is a surprise for this sort of shop. They do sandwiches too for lunch if your near by, which i can recommend.

Ace
If you want something designer then this is the place. Its expensive but then thats designer clothes for you. There are usually more staff than customers in the week and they are very keen to help you buy something. They stock Armani and TwenyTwelve and Prada etc, and if you want quality you will shop here. They also do alterations for you at no extra cost most of the time. Great sales too at change of seasons.

The only place to shop
This place is the best place to shop if you want something nice, designer, well made and have the money to spend. Thackerys now is only mens with the ladies store on the other side of the road. Good for shoes too, with Prada and Ted Baker being just 2 of the many designers you will find here, and the suits are really lovely. The staff are a little forceful but very very helpful and there to sell.

a God Send
This place has always been a god send, there arent that many other shops near it so its a little out the way unless you knew it was here. They are good for jeans and jackets and original clothes with designer names too. If you like your trendy gear then check this place out.

Not the biggest..
Its not the biggest River Island, but its well stocked and has a good turnover of new stock. The staff are young and not very helpful and its annoying that you can only try on six items at a time.

Good jeans
Lovin the jeans in Miss Selfridge. Its high fashion and all very trendy, nothing made with much quality but then most of the items are very chea and affortable. The shop is maintained quite well and not the normal jumble sale like other branches.

This is for the youngsters and high school musical lovers. I think its quite cheap clothing but high fashion and affortable. its ok for a one off top but you wont find much quality here. Lots of accessories that are again low in price and high fashion.

Well its what you would expect, bargains galore if you can be bothered to hunt round the rails and clothes that have fallen on the floor. I can never see anything in this place, other than little holiday tops. the whole place looks like a jumple sale, altho it is very well stocked and quite a large store.

Top shop
This certainly isnt the biggest of top shops so it doesnt have all the stock or kate moss collection that you might be after, but its well kept and the rails arent too jumble saley. Throw away fashion at affortable prices.

pub crawl
This place is one of the stop offs for the regular pub crawls down the welly road. Its not a bad pub either even though at weekends the welly road can be a little scary with some random drunk people wandering the streets.

Its ok
This place is ok, nice large bar. But you have to make sure you are drinking at all times, they dont even like you using the toilets if you havent brought a drink yet. It attracts the young, but handy for a drink before or after dinner at Joes Diner

This place used to be ok, especially in the summer with a nice seating area out back. It seems to attract some serious drinkers and doesnt have alot of atmosphere now though. Its probably your one drink pub before moving on.

Nice location
Its a nice location if you are going to or from Joes Diner. I have waited at the bar so long before that i have actually left, so the service really does let this place down. Its nicer at lunchtime and i wouldnt bother at weekends unless you are drunk.

This place is a good start for your night out, but probably not one you would want to stay in all night. I have always found it a little clinical and lacking in atmosphere, it feels quite forced. But the drinks arent over priced so thats a good thing.

Classy after refit
This place is sooo much nicer than it ever used to be, with nice places to sit and decent comfortable chairs and sofas, and canvas paintings i think about stealing everytime im in there. A really nice place altho a little out of the centre.

A decent chinese
The food here is really good and you ge a massive menu to choose from, its best to book as a group and order loads of stuff so you can sample a bit of everything without being stuck with just one dish. The food is fresh and tasty and is very popular, so you might have to wait for a table.

Huge portions
Dont come here if you feel about about so many people in the world living in poverty and starving. The portions are massive and its almost impossible to finish your plate, everything you order comes with a million questions on how you want it cooked, if you want cheese on your fries, potoates or chips and the list goes on. The menu is massive and its best to try and do starters, main and pudding as all are amazing, especially the wacky desserts. Great value for money, as you can eat all three courses for about 25quid.

Good food
I like this place I find the staff very friendly and know the menu well, its a cute little place with a personal style and very nice italian food. Its quite small and tucked away but dont over look it, ive never had a bad meal here.

Burger and chips
As with most Mcdonalds you know what you are going to get, you know the menu better than the staff in there. The service isnt too bad with most bods having a five star badge. Gets busy at the weekends at key times, but then thats what you would expect.

Great food and service
Ever since my brother introduced me to this place, Ive been back loads. They even know me on a personal basis, but then i think thats there style as they are very freindly and take care of all their customers. They do some nice red wine too.
