Review of One Stop Convenience Store

The One-stop shop 
This store is a great convenience shop. It sells any essential you may un-expectedly run out of. It's a favourite for commuters too as it's right next to shoreham station. The only problem is they do the bill pay thingy which takes a while and when your waiting to get your paper and there's someone in front of you paying with 2 mins til your train arrives....!

Perfect for any meal
This particular branch has very friendly staff who work very hard to not l;eave you waiting for your Breakfast, lunch or dinner! My favourite is the Roasted veg's and cream cheese! Jam packed for of delicious fabulousness!

Review of Walkabout Inn

Great photo oppo!
I've been to the Walkabout a few times now and everytime i've been there the atmosphere is amazing. Not once have i seen any trouble and they have great live bands playing.It's right opposite oceana which is the main nightlife attraction in Brighton at the moment. At the bottom of the stairs by the toilets there are some funny men drawn on the wall. My last outing there enabled a GREAT photo with me, my friends and the funny painted men with long arms.

Quack pizza!
This is a big pub without much of an intimate feeling. I can think of better places to go for a few drinks or a bite to eat. There is a real mix of clientele here from city workers havin a drink on the way home to Bikers stopping off for a quick shandy. But i have to say that the pizza's are really good, especially the Duck pizza, and the garlic bread is pretty good too!

Great for lunch
This pub is a favourite for lunch breaks to people working in the surrounding area. The reason being it's reasonably priced with lots of variety on the menu. The service is also very prompt and i have recently discovered a lovely beer garden at the back of the pub! In the evening this pub turns into quite a locals joint but if your looking for some good pub grub at lunchtime, it's perfect!

Ok
When this bar first opened it was the place to be and be seen. Since the opening hype bussiness has eased off and it's lost some of it's stuck up attitude. A nice classy little bar now to enjoy a bevie and a bowl of olives. Although the house rose leaves you taste buds a little stripped!

A must during adur beer festival
The red lion is a family favourite for food and drink. It's average priceing but one major thing going for this pub is that it's the focus of the adur beer festival! It's brilliant! The pub has a small intimate beer garden which makes a perfect venue for a relaxing drink.

Pretty nails
This shop is easily accesible as there are quite a few places to park around george street. The staff work very quickly so you can pop in on your lunch break. The final result is excellent with most of my nails looking great!. One thing though, sometimes they dont blend the tip into your nail before applying acrylic but on the whole very good.

Great
What a great restaurant this is. Trained staff, good food, Right next door to the Komedia club for some fun and games after dinner, and, u don't just have to have burger's. The salads here are really good and sitting outside in the north lanes just makes you feel like one of the trendy gang!

Great
The chicken with ginger and spring onions comes highly recommended from this take-away! In a great location. U can usually park outside if you decide to collect your dinner rather than have it delivered! The ONLY grumble i have is that u have to spend over £20 to get free prawn crackers. and in most places, it's £10 pound.

Love it
I love this M&S. It's got everything there u would need including a Bureau de change!!!! Which seems to have competetive rates. There is a hand car wash in the car park which is excellent for a fiver! Cant go wrong! The staff are friendly and helpful. One thing i will say is, it's quite hard to find the pay points in this store.

Little annoying
I've been to this store many a time and to be honest i dont find the staff very helpful, and a couple of times what i needed wasnt in stock! Also very annoying that you have to have all tables and stuff delivered. cant take home today! Booo.

My Local
Tesco holmbush is my local supermarket and i suppose it is as you would expect. Although i have been shopping a couple of times on a Friday night and the stock is very low. I wanted a specific type of mince beef and there was none. And a pack of mixed peppers of which there was also none. One other thing that is slightly annoying, they do a taste test thing where you try 2 products the same and give your comments on both. I get asked to do it every time which is good when im hungry but not when im in a rush!

Great Locals pub
This used to be my local about a year ago. Somewhere i could go into on my own and be sure to see someone i know. Excellent! BUT.... I have been there since and it's just not the same if they dont know your face! There were a lot of new staff and new punters, i no longer knew anyone and it was obvious they didnt know me. I do think it's a shame when you walk in and everyone looks at you...'who are you?who do you know? and what are you doing here?' There are much better options in shoreham, all of them the other side of the footbridge.

A great little clean sunbed shop that is not badly priced either! They even look after your cream for you! Your provided with a complementary towel and hairband which is more handy than you think when you've not got your hair up!

Lovely drink by the river
The food is not bad in this venue, Great for a working lunch of lunch with friends. Not a trendy atmosphere but still friendly and not too busy. When it comes to a summers afternoon/ evening.... PERFECT! Sitting by the river on a Sunday afternoon in the sun? What could be better?

Great for a night with friends
I went to the crown and anchor on Friday night. It's lovely since it's refurb and was very busy... a Little too busy for my likeing but still a great venue. I have eaten here before and i didnt rate the food much, but thats not really what i look to a venue like this for. It's a great starting place for a pub tour as it's in the middle of eveything. Just one negative is the House Rose wine... It's a bit like vinegar! Stick to the Chardonnay or a good old Voddie and diet coke.

Fun Fun Fun
Well i've paid a few visit's to this venue, and to be honest about a year ago it went thro, what i like to call, a sticky floor phase! Bit grotty but been since and was back to normal, clean and a great night out. Although i am of the opinion that it doesnt matter where you go, it's who you go with.

As good as any!
Pizza Express is a favourite of mine... Always has been. My favourite is Lasange or Margerita (or however you spell it) pizza with extra ham. Although as of late the Extra ham is not really extra as you get 1 piece cut into 4! Not really worth the extra money but still delicious! The service in this particular branch is great and the Garlic Do balls... well.... Heaven!

This is a very Beautiful Golf course although short but very Challenging. Unfortunatly it's a little on the expensive side but a good thing is that you are always guaranteed Tee Times!

Great day out
Although a little expensive at £22 pounds a time, It's well worth a visit. Some of the wax works i thought looked a little out of date, Robbie Williams was VERY fresh faced, Winona Ryder didnt look much like the real thing and i cant tell u how many times i apologised for saying sorry to the photographers!You'll see what i mean if you go. Watch out for Britney.... Little trick with that one, and i amused myself pretending to take Tom Jones Microphone of him!

Nice
A nice bar for a quiet drink during theweek and a sofisticated drink at the weekend with the hubbub of Worthing just up the road. A little tip, the cast and crew of most shows that visit the pavillion drink in hjere after the show. So u may be able to do some star potting too..... If any go to the Pavillion!

I have to add that there is sometimes a strange smell wafting through the auditorium. I have noticed the heat and appreciate that the theatr is old but they need to add and update the toilet's as queing into the 2nd half of a show you have paid to see is not my idea of fun! BUT.... It is beautiful and the quality of productions there are very high.

Special as always
Over christmas i spent a LOT of time in Richmond, and Wagamama was one of my favourite haunts for food. As i always find at waga's the food is delicious, quick service and good value for money! My Favourite has tobe the Chicken Katsu Curry, and Elderflower water! Lovely!

Choose carefully
I've never had service that varies so much depending on who serves you. A short lady who's worked there as long as i can remember is brilliant and she does just what i ask and i always leave happy. But there are quite a few who seem to get stroppy if u ask them to straighten the nail or stop clipping your bloody cuticles with the file! Ouch! And don't bother booking, no time is set aside for you and you'll still have to wait if they're busy.

I started to go off the toby carvery's when they became sludgy and over cooked. When we were at a loose end one Sunday, we decided to try again... It was LOVELY! And good value for money! My partner also informs me that it's a good "after work Friday drink" venue. This i would not know!

Busy busy busy!
After celebrating a friends birthday at Oceana Kingston, i wondered if Brighton's version would be different. It wasn't. The queue's were still as long, you still cant get to the bar to order a drink and you can sometimes feel like you've stumbled across a kindergarten! BUT.... There is a cheese room and music to suit all tastes and you certainly never feel alone in there! It's who you go with not where u go i guess.
