Review of Gap

Same Old
I once had a friend who worked at gap and when the new season’s line was presented he could never see the difference. If it’s summer you’ll see light pale blue men’s shirts. If it’s winter you’ll see light pale blue men’s shirts… and possibly a coat nearby.

Gap
Same old, same old from Gap as usually. Combining pale blue with chinos, you’ll be hard pressed to find something you haven’t seen in the store before. Only if it’s your first time, will you be remotely surprised by anything on offer in this store

Review of Burton Menswear

Men's fashion
Not as fashionable as River Island, but that’s not a bad thing as what they sacrifice in the effort to chase fashion trends, they make up for on price. You won’t break the bank at Burton although the shop floor can be a little sparse and they could do with more clothes on display.

Men's fashion
Keep a look out in this Burton store as they often have bargains and something is constantly on offer. They do the staples of river island but slightly cheaper and won’t go out of fashion quite as quickly either.

Review of Next Retail

Next
Next have hit a gold mine for men by offering very reasonably price shirts, but in 3 different first. Standard for the average man, tailored for slimmer and their slimmest fit cunningly called “slim-fit”. The shirts are well made, however the black shirts will fade over time, but they’re only £20 so it’s not too much of a burden to buy another one.

Review of River Island Clothing Co

High Street budget fashion
River Island works as a brand that associates itself with a younger type of shopper than some of its counterparts and it’s reflected in the way its spread. Be careful if you only ever shop here as you can end up looking like everyone else.

Barcelona in Birmingham
Slim fit tailoring from this European giant based in Barcelona. Not the biggest store in the UK, but definitely a good selection available to shoppers and worth the day out to the Bullring Centre.

Review of Birmingham City Football Club

Tired Ground, Tired Football
Not the best ground in the premiership and it’s starting to tell as time goes by that it could do with a bit more than a lick of paint. This is a great place to come if you are the opposition as you stand a good chance of seeing your team win. Take the train here as parking is a premium around St Andrews

Review of Bullring Shopping Centre

The other bit
The other half of the Bluewater of Birmingham. If the shop you were after wasn’t across the road, then it’s probably in here. All the high street shops you would expect from one of Europe’s largest shopping centres.
Excellent road and rail links with adequate parking. Well thought out and a pleasurable shopping experience

Review of Bullring Shopping Centre

Giant
The Bluewater of Birmingham. It's huge. There's every shop you can think of... and a few more that you probably didn't know existed.
Extremely busy on Saturdays with all the high street chains located in the building. if it's raining, most of the West Midlands will congregate here so if it's a rainy saturday before Xmas, you may want to avoid this place like the plague... but then again it's probably the same for every shopping centre around that time of year
