Disappointing 
I'm not sure how often the refresh the potatoes here, but they were a bit floury... like they'd been cooked twice (the skin tasted like it was crips, but probably when it was first cooked and not kept heating through)
Toppings were good and the price was reasonable, but I think I'd opt for a sandwich next time

Great Coffee 
It's more of a coffee shop than a chocolatier's. Unlike other Thorntons the coffee shop is really spacious and takes up most of the shop. The chocolate side is mostly kept to the outer wall and a till at the other end of the store.

Gooey but expensive 
When you're shopping, grab a coffee and grab a cookie , then watch the boats moored behind the outlet centre.
It'll only be a treat, as they are really expensive, even compared to Tesco's finest.
However, they are still gooey in the middle, just like a cookie should be

Convenience over price
if someone ever calculated how much money i've spent in here when I've "Just popped in for..." then I'd probably cry
Expensive but convenient. You can actually rent films from here, I never have, but you can.
It's not the cheapest, however they have freshly baked apple pies delivered which are delicious and if you arrive late enough they reduce them to clear... you can pick up a substantial dessert for 10p... bargain!

When dispacted to find fairy wings... I headed to the closest shop I could find that would help.
Once I'd explained my other half's request the staff were helpful and quite clearly able to tell that I was lost and pretty much useless. They sorted it all out and were really helpful

Basics
I was dragged in here by my girlfriend... honestly I was!
According to her, the range was good, but a little basic. If she wanted work bras then this was the place she headed to. It's certainly no ann summers and it was quite difficult to manouver the store as a there isn't much floorspace as they have so much stock out I found it a little claustrophobic and uncomfortable.

Discount
Bizarrely the carry exactly the same stock as their main stores, but this is discounted. I once saw a jacket in the main store in Bluewater and ordered it here... by the time it arrrived it had taken advantage of the clearance store discount... Brilliant.
A good range and knowing they're cheaper than the other high street stores gives you a sense of satisfaction. Staff were very helpful

If you can't face Bluewater..
You can get a days shopping done here in half a day. it's not that big and the prices aren't particularly discounted.
However it's much nicer than anywhere else in the Medway towns and is ideal if you can't face Maidstone or Bluewater
Grab a coffee and watch the river, you could almost be anywhere but Chatham.
