Usually Solid 
If you get a few good acts and a solid compere you're in for a good night. I've had that on several occasions here, upstairs above the bar below.
However some of the acts don't update their material and I had the rather bored evening listening to Micky Hutton (yes that bloke from Hangar 17) doing the same compere act that I'd seen 3 years before.

Sweaty Hole 
Usually overly crowded, expensive drinks and generally there is a conversation that says.. ...I'm not going to Destiny... alright, but we need to get somewhere and get drunk first"
It's a hole and the people in there are chavs. It's overly dark ad the sweat drips off the walls
if that's your thing, you'll love it. If it's not, you'll hate it

Review of Walkabout

Typical
Stock Standard Walkabout pub... cheap beer and not the classiest place in town, but you know what your getting when you walk through the doors
It's the place to go if you want to throw a lot of booze down your neck and dance like a loon, not if you want to stand around pouting in your cardigan and winkle pickers
