Review of The Cinnamon Club

02 Apr 08, 12:56

Fantastic Contemporary Indian Food 5*

I'd heard a lot of things about the Cinnamon Club before I went. Full of politicos, great atmosphere, up market Indian food.

The first two points didn't concern me, and in fact they were quickly proved correct when I was sat down next to David Dimbleby in a beautiful old building with a particularly buzzy mood.

The label of up market Indian scared me a little. Indian food to me has always meant over sized protions, a little bit greasy and in general same from restaurant to restaurant. It's just what I like.

The great news is you definitely won't leave feeling hungry. The portions are great, and while you won't see a Rogan Josh on the menu you'll definitely find something great to replace it.

Definitely worth a visit.
