Review of Wallington Hall (national Trust)

Very Good
Beautiful 17th Century type house in the middle of a National Trust Park. With fantastic scenery, this particular National Trust location is definitely worth visiting. Quite extensive grounds, as well as the house there's a Farm shop and Cafe to purchase food and refreshments. Plenty of parking available. About £7 for non NT members.

Review of Beaconsfield Hotel

Local Haunt
Popular bar in Low Fell. Never quite been as keen on the place since it had a refurb, but you can't please everyone. Serves the standards alcoholic/non-alcholic drinks as well as coffees and light snack. Good place to catch up with mates, oh and big tellies for the match.

Alreet
Refurbished over a year ago now this pub/restaurant has a very relaxed welcoming environment. A great improvement on the former pub that it was. Serving a good choice of food and also a range of decent foreign beers and local ales. Plenty of flat screens for watching the match on and quite spacious. Would recommend.

Review of Pizza Cottage

Enjoyable
This Pizza Takeaway has been around for a number of years, and I think a few different owners. It has generally been very consistent with serving good food. As well as Pizzas, it's branched out to chips, wedges, kebabs, etcs. So a good selection. Mid week offers include buy 1 pizza and get the same size for £1.50 more. Very decent.

Super
Located in the small village of Coniston this pub/restaurant serves some absolutely fantastic food. Nice relaxed environment with friendly folk serving. Great choice of local Ales available too. Price are very reasonable and the facilities could not be faulted. Would certainly recommend a visit.

No Complaints
Situated in Durham City Centre this popular Cafe serves a range of Sandwiches, Quiches, Jackets potatoes with a range of fillings as well as specials of the day. If you still have room afterwards a large selection of freshly baked cakes can be washed down with the teas and coffees available. A pleasant experience to visit.

Review of Pepe's Ristorante

Happy Dining
This Italian restaurant proves to be very popular and advanced bookings are recommended. Offering a good selection of fresh Italian food, at very reasonable prices including a couple of very good Happy Hour offers, Pepes lives up to a good word of mouth reputation.

Review of Paradiso Restaurant

Very Nice
A modern Cafe serving Mediterranean food, from simple sandwiches to home made fish and chips. With a good selection for both Vegetarians and Meat Eaters as well as a fine selection of drinks, Paradiso proves a perfect stopping point whether wanting one of the excellent coffees served or a taste of fine Mediterranean Cuisine. I'd Recommend trying the Muffalette.
