Review of Parkside Pools

Spalshing about.. 3*

Fun for all the family at Parkside Pools. Serious swimmers can enjoy the lane swimming or if you want to just get wet you can have fun here too. Slides to keep the kids amused and never seems to get that busy. Plus a nice little cafe and snack bar after you have finished.

Review of Cambridge Arts Theatre

Different Evening Out 4*

You can enjoy some great productions at the Arts Theatre. Ive watched several shows here and always had a good time. From scaled down west end shows to classic sherlock holmes or Agatha Christie, you can watch it all here. Great views from all seats and not a massive venue so you can really get up close with the actors.

Review of Jesus Green Outdoor Pool

Refreshing on a hot day 4*

Jesus green swimming pool is an historic lido near the centre of Cambridge. Its one of the longest outdoor pools in europe. With it not being heated it can be quite fresh when jump straight in but there is not better way to cool down on a hot summer day.

Review of Cottenham Sport Centre

Lots of Sports to compete in 3*

Cottenham offers lots to the sport fanatic. You can play tennis on the outside courts or go inside to go roller-blading and five-a-side footie. There is a nice little gym too and plenty of classes to keep the kids entertainined during the summer holidays.

Review of Linton Zoological Gardens

Great place for the kids... 4*

The kids will love a day out at Linton Zoo. You can come face to face with tigers, lions and monkeys. There is plenty of other things to do at the Zoo with picnic area's, play area's and lots to eat and drink. Definatly one to keep the kids entertained during the summer.

Review of The Cambridge Waffle Company

Waffley Versatile 4*

Lovely waffle shop right in the middle of Cambridge. The name of the each flavour are the names of the cambridge colleges! You can have a savoury one or fill your boots with ice cream, smarties, choc buttons and much more! So much choice and so little time...

Review of Topshop

Alright if you are a student!! 2*

I feel definatly too old for Top Shop this days. The range of clothes seems to be aimed at the student market. If you want to dress like a student in a bright orange t-shirt then this is the place. The level of mens clothes has really dipped in recent years.

Review of Cult Clothing

Something different than the usual... 4*

Cult clothing always offers something different to most high street shops. There is a great selection of t-shirts and olo shirts. If you are fan of SuperDry then this is the place, I love the t-shirts and they always fit well and good quality. The music is always good as well!

Review of Galleria Restaurant

An offer you cant refuse! 4*

I'd definitely recommend the Galleria on Bridge Street in Cambridge. I'm a massive fan of their Calzone pizza, but I know their meat is pretty good too. They do really good set menu deals as well so it's too pricey either. Plus they do ice cream so if you don't want to sit down and have a meal then you can pick up a very yummy snack to take away. Only down is probably the loo which is a bit weird to get to and pretty small but then I don't really want to spend much time there anyway.

Review of Next Generation Club

Centre Parcs without the Dome!! 4*

This place has the lot for the gym fan! Indoor and outdoor tennis courts for the Henman wannabes. Squash courts, badminton and other sports where you hit things. The reception feels like a hotel and after a hard workout you will want a lie down although there is a holiday inn next door!! All this place needs is a few water slides and some rapids and it would be Centre Parcs without the forest!! Quite pricey for your monthly membership so make sure you dont hit the pub instead of the gym...
