The best view of Bath 
I was lucky enough to try out the new BIBS balloon this week and it is truely spectacular. It's one of the biggest balloons in the south west it takes 16 passengers. We flew out to Farmborough and saw Bath from a completely new perspective, plus had our photo taken in the air and were given a glass of bubbly too!

Review of Whitehall Garden Centre

Much more than just a garden centre 
I often use Whitehall for stocking up on some fanatstic meat and farm produced food. The centre uses meat from Lackham so you know it's going to be good. The place is massive with so much to see and do and I've gone before and spent hours there. If you've got kids they will love it with the play area plus the cafe is great for some lovely cake.

The best BBQ food around
Dave Hill runs a great butchers and I am always really pleased with the meat. Top for steaks and for BBQ grub, Dave makes kebabs that beat all the others and it's easy parking too just off the main A4. The shop closes for lunch and has a 1/2 day in the week so may be worth calling before you visit to check times.

Now closed! 
I wouldn't make too much effort to go here as the place is now closed and has been turned into a private residence. Try the Co-op though over the road, they have most things you need.

The best farm shop around
It's always a treat coming here, they have their own butchers plus loads of lovely things to eat and drink. Good selection of cheese plus they stock fireworks too if you are planning a celebration.

Taste the scrumpy 
Although they no longer make the cider on the premises they have a great range of local ciders and you can try before you buy. The place looks a bit of a mess from the road but they have quite a few interesting products plus a free car boot once a month!

This place has had problems since it opened but after a recent revamp it's much better now. Try to avoid busy periods though as there is still not enough kit to meet the demand.

Naughty but nice!
This place offers pretty good fish and chips but it does depend which day you go. They are also quite pricey compared to others but it is convenient and there arn't many other choices around Batheaston. I find the main problem is they don't open Sundays and it's the day I never want to cook and always feel like a take-out!

Almost as good as going to the doctors!
The staff here are so helpful you don't need to always see your doctor. They have a huge range of products, plus dont forget the downstairs basement too with loads of gifts and skin care treatments. They offer many complimentary medicines so if you are looking for alternatives then this is the place to go.

Great views on a summer evening
With a lovely view over the Box valley, this is a great spot for watching the cricket on a summers evening. They also have a large marquee outdoors and regularly have live music.
