Great views on a summer evening 3*

With a lovely view over the Box valley, this is a great spot for watching the cricket on a summers evening. They also have a large marquee outdoors and regularly have live music.

New owners so looks fresh 3*

Thsi place has just been taken over and the interior has been revamped so it is much better. Also they have a nice outdoor area for the summer. Food is traditional pub food but they are expanding their food offering and wine list.

Review of The King William

Odd location - fantastic food 4*

On the busy London Road, in the Snow Hill area of Bath, this is a fantastic pub for food. With a great Bristish themed menu you can try things like Ox's tongue! Not easy to park, but not far to walk from the city centre. Book early as it's not a big place.

Review of The Bell

Bohemian feel 3*

I love the live music, incredible range of ales and the bar billiards table. The table costs £1 a go but it's well worth it and not too many of these around. Music is especially good Sunday lunchtime and watchout for celebs too, rumour has it that Johnny Depp has been seen drinking in there!

Review of The Bear

A great village pub 4*

The Bear offers a great menu with ever changing specials so you know you can always try something different. Some great real ales aswell as live music and regular quizzes make this a must if your in the village. Run by Chris, an ex-Bath Rugby player who are always guaranteed a warm welcome.

Review of The Lock Inn Cottage

Best breakfast ever 4*

The boatmans breakfast is really something else - that's if you can manage it. The Inn is right on the canal and great for the summer. You can also reserve little sheds in the garden and get together in your own little booth. If you prefer eating on the river they also have a boat moored which acts as an extension of the restaurant. The menu is massive plus beer great, this is a guaranteed must to visit!

Review of Quarryman's Arms

A hidden gem 4*

Not the easiest place to find but if you want a true traditional pub this is the place. Lovely views over the Box valley and fantastic pub food, it's worth getting lost for!
