Review of Mean Fiddler

Good venue 3*

This is a good venue and I have seen several bands play here. Queuing is a bit strange because you go down a dark alley-way which often smells, but once you're inside it's fine. You enter on the top floor and it can be a little disorientating to try and find your way down, but you can get very close to the front.

Getting out is a little difficult because the exit is very small and it may take some time to push through the crowds. That is if you finish up at the very front...which turns into the back when you leave.

Review of Tesco Express

Very slow 1*

Visited this 24hr store late on Sunday evening and it took ages to get served with only a single guy on the checkouts. I only wanted to buy milk as well.

Review of Fopp

A good store 4*

On 15th April I attended an in-store appearance of Steven Wilson and John Wesley to promote the release of the new Porcupine Tree album. I got to FOPP in Camden early and had some time to browse before the event.

The store itself is nicely done out with a wide range of titles available over three floors. If you're looking for something - CDs or DVDs - the chances are you'll find it here,

Review of Barclays Bank PLC

Would not confirm my identity 1*

Having a business account with Barclays, I needed them to confirm my identity for a form to send off. After waiting 10 minutes in the queue then 20 minutes to see a personal banker (yes, personal...for a business account), I was looked at very suspiciously (as if I couldn't be running my own business being 19 and wearing a hoodie/jeans) and then told I'd have to go into my account holding branch. Waste of time. Barclays are normally good.

Review of Subway

Subway is Subway 2*

Subway food is the same anywhere in the world but it's the service in each individual store that can let it down. I really enjoy the sandwiches but in this store I had to explain what I wanted several times because the lady serving me couldn't speak English. Not very impressive.
