nice

when i was married my wife made me shop at all these lovely shops.

i've been to the ones in london, canterbury and strangely this one in beautiful york.

it's a very classy affair - you feel good walking out with a fenwicks bag!! we purchased a shed load of clinique gear at this particular store and i remember the service being pretty good.

this used to be my local - we had a flat right opposite it.

lifes different now - i did find myself in this pub with a mate last month however and apart from the new wazzy furniture not much has changed.

still the miserable staff, with sloppy service moaning to eachother about how they wish they worked elsewhere - charming.

comfy sofa's though.

this is like dr who's tardis this little bar.

you go in and it just keeps going and going and then you go downstairs and it just keeps getting even bigger!

mostly rnb / drumnbass when i've been so not my favourite music but a nice enough bar to spend time with friends.

ok - just ok

i was going to buy a brand spanking new car from this dealership. i paid the deposit and everything!

however they turned down the loan (thanks) so i had to go elsewhere for the deal.

the only gripe i was left with was this dealer took 6 weeks to return my deposit - and when i did get it back it was Christmas eve!!!!!!! (thanks again)

i would use them again but would be cautious of parting with cash.

if you work in the city centre no doubt you've found yourself in here after a tough day at the office.

whenever i'm home in swansea and meeting mates when they're done at work it's usually in here for the first of many drinks.

i seem to remember always being served quickly and happily here.

nice food!

This is a lovely indian. I used to be part of a monthly curry club that enjoyed touring around Wiltshire sampling the delights of different curry houses.

This was the first venue we tried and were incredibly impressed.

Service was a little sloppy in places but other than that the food was great.

I seem to remember them not wanting to have a massive table in the middle of the room - and would have prefered if we'd sat in groups around the dining room - we however convinced them to give one table a go.

got my curtains in here

this is the place to go to if you need to kit out a new place at short notice.

i moved into a flat recently and was told there were curtains - guess what........... no curtains!

no probs though thanks to this shop i was able to walk straight in give them my window sizes and leave within 10 minutes with curtains!!

for a bloke thats pretty damn good.

loud & karaoke...... hmmmm

if your already pissed when you arrive - you'll love this place.

however if your the desigated driver you'll have a thumping headache!

over the top karaoke with really drunk horrific singers.

but if your with a large group it's a hell of a laugh - the usual wannabe's you find at karaoke nights aren't here so you can be as crap as you like and just laugh!

bit tired now

this place is screaming out for a re-fit. its a little tired now if you ask me.

dont get me wrong if you have young kids they'll love it especially the pirate ship and the flumes.

but lets be honest - its very 80's - 90's at best....

come on swindon - do this place up!

it's all we have - so we love it

this is the only theatre style venue we have in town so whether we love it or not isn't really the point.

it could do with a make-over if you ask me. with mk theatre and the new one in dunstable its probably never going to happen as the bigger shows go to those venues rather than this one.

shame as bedford would be a lovely theatre town.

lunch is good here

if your ever at work and a group of you can't decide on where to go - think chinese.

we used to pop here after ratings day when i worked in town.

the food is always good and staff are so thrilled when a group pops in during the daytime - you get loads of extras!!!!

i could never get a sofa

used to head in here all the time! so i must be a suit!!!!!!

I could never get a sofa and always has to stand at the crammed bar trying to have a chat with my workmates before heading home!

nice decor inside, nice people too and the prices aren't that bad.

have to agree with the first review ^^^ the chocy shots are yum yum.

if you like sticky floors, and drunk people prancing about all over the place i have a feeling you'll love this place.

usually rammed with students on weeknights the beer cart could be described as not the best place to take a member of the opposite sex on a date!!!

however, if getting hammered and heading for a kebab is the agenda of the night - ROCK ON!

i've only used this store once - i needed a new wedge on the way to a charity match.

staff were pleasant, displays good and the wedge didn't help me win - but it is still in my golf bag.

see what you can do

well its a little retail outlet crammed full of O2 stuff.

from phones to contracts to chargers to pda's you can grab yourself a nice little O2 bargain in here.

if your contracts nearly up get yourself in here and as they say at O2 - "see what you can do!"

big shop full of computers

this is a large retail unit full of computers and computer related stuff.

they sometimes bother to have a sale which you can grab a nice little bargain - you should know they are part of the dixons group so most of the products are the same as currys digital.

nice turf delivered on time.

not too much to say other than they were polite, and took the time to care about how they delivered the turf to the property without treading mud all over the place as we had no back gate!

if you like books, you'll love this place.

it's one of the classiest book stores out there and this particular store is very swish.

from fiction to non-fiction to fantasy and reference if you can't find it here it ain't worth buying.

its another old maccy d's

i love macdonalds, whereever you go you know what your going to get!

here's an example of a typical macdonalds - however dont rush to go in here on a lunch break as it's full of neighbouring students from bedford college - they take all the seats and stay in there until it's time to go back to their maths re-sit lesson!!!

good on the weekend though.

this is the place for phones and contracts etc - if you are thinking about switching to the vodaphone network i recommend popping in and having a little chat with these fellas.

you'll find the latest tarriffs and handsets available all in-store and whats cool is some of the newer handsets come with pre-charged batteries which means you can use the phone straight away!

its a shoe shop called schu!

as you'd imagine its full of shoes and shoe related items for both sexes.

you'll be amazed at just how many shoe's schu can fit under one roof.

a nice snazzy little shop with loads of schus. dont expect anything else though - schu only do shoes.

bit pricey for me, however after a night on the tiles this is a great place to hit.

fresh fruit and good stuff blasted together to make a tasty natural drink.

it's like gods version of redbull.

i recommend this place next time your in town.

i love chains - wherever you go you'll find a macdonalds, a primark and a yates!

this one is like any other yates bar.

although when i lived here they only had a dj 2 nights a week. nice for chatting!! not nice if like me your a dj looking for gigs!

does what it says!

its a big shop full of fancy dress gear. used this a few times when i lived in swindon for parties etc etc.

they have pretty much every kind of out fit you could imagine - and whats not in store i belevie can be ordered in for you.

i dressed up as scooby doo, and dracula i seem to remember - both outfits lasted the entire party which for me is a sign of a strong up for it outfit.

average but ok night out

went here for a mates birthday - didn't have a shit night - but not that hot either.

music is ok - its from one of those electronic dj systems..... they were obsessed with the sugababes though got slightly annoying after 2 hours!

drinks deals i seem to remember were ok - however i'd been drinking so probably best to check those deals for yourself!!!!

I didn't know there was a buger king in bluewater for ages - how cool to find it unexpectedly on a hungry morning shopping.

bring on the angus steak burger meal.

this is a typical burger king store that gets VERY busy but the staff seem to cope well with the lunch rush.

Traditional Jewellers

This is one of those old fashioned traditional jewellers where you can browse, ask to see things and you never get tutted at like in those high-street chains!!

You know the ones where you ask to see the other watch and the chav tuts at you!!

I recommend calling in from watch batteries to all kinds of other jewellery try before heading off to MK.

nice selection of shoes

I've been to the footlocker in milton keynes and so when i saw this store in bluewater thought i knew what i was letting myself in for!

this store however was better laid out, had more enthusiastic staff and had a much better selection of shoes!

i recommend popping in if you need some new shoes!

House of Fraser - Bluewater

This is one of my fav stores at Bluewater. I usually spend some time browsing here before heading off to the Water Circus for a hot chocolate!

You'll find this store has everything - unlike the Hof in Milton Keynes which is like half a store!!

This is the kind of store that people travel for miles to experience.

a lovely place to eat

this is a great venue to eat and drink by the sea.

situation in the centre of Whitstable you can't fail to spot it.

The duke also has a brand new function room which is perfect for family events - this is the other side of the now heated courtyard beer garden in the centre of the building.

Lovely pub.

I used to work near the dockside outlet and used to pop in for lunch from time to time.

it's one of the better outlet centres in the uk.

i'd even go as far and say that this one's as hot as the one in Swindon.

Nice array of shops and comfortable shopping surroundings.

Pretty Normal

The Litten Tree is a tired brand now if you ask me.

It's a very samey place and also very dated.

Nice drinks offers though and some fairly ok music - However with Harvey's Bar opening up next door I feel the Litten Tree is only going to go in one direction.

Unless they move with the times they will get left behind.

nice food, small rooms

I have stayed in the pilgrims when working at the Marlowe theatre opposite.

I found the food lovely and the service ok. However the rooms are pretty small.

If it's a one night quick stay - the hotel is fine, if your staying for more than a day I would look at an alternative as there is little room inside the hotel.
