excellent

i had my eye test here and also bought two new pairs of glasses.

i can recommend this branch as clean, friendly and easy to deal with.

the eye test was pleasant, easy going and professional at all times.

they helped me pick my new frames and even managed to have them both ready within the hour like the tv commercial says!

awesome

this is the biggest and best venue in bedford.

3 rooms and a vip chill out area to enjoy.

you can strutt your stuff to funky house, rnb or cheese and party all under one roof.

nice people run this club which makes a huge change - you get welcomed with a smile and looked after all night. safe, funky and fun

it's all we have - so we love it

this is the only theatre style venue we have in town so whether we love it or not isn't really the point.

it could do with a make-over if you ask me. with mk theatre and the new one in dunstable its probably never going to happen as the bigger shows go to those venues rather than this one.

shame as bedford would be a lovely theatre town.

its another old maccy d's

i love macdonalds, whereever you go you know what your going to get!

here's an example of a typical macdonalds - however dont rush to go in here on a lunch break as it's full of neighbouring students from bedford college - they take all the seats and stay in there until it's time to go back to their maths re-sit lesson!!!

good on the weekend though.

bring on the worlds best chips

the chips in this place simply are the best chips in the whole wide world.

the other items on the menu are good too don't get me wrong but the chips are simply stunning.

we use this place for work lunches and birthday parties etc - its a nice comfy smart restaurant without being snobby and poncy.

nice people, nice service - nice food.

i didn't want to leave

this place rocks.

i can play - a bit and had so much fun jammin away in here.

great selection of instruments as you'd imagine but its the extra stuff that got my attention.

midi stuff, dj gear - amps and mixers etc etc.

if your in the music bizz or maybe just starting out - check this shop out first.

yum yum yum

this is a lovely store, you know what you're going to get with thorntons.

i remember working in the harpur centre for a couple of days and the guys in this store really looked after us.

i love the white chocs they do - especially the little mice!!!! they are the best ever.

i would recommend you check this place out.

Nice people, Nice Cinema

Now I'm a regular here so perhaps a little biased.

I'm a big movie fan and love seeing all the latest releases.

The team at Bedford are nice people, and whilst the cinema could so with an upgrade they do work the place well.

Always on time, clean and comfy. They have the old style seats which I LOVE!

Come on the blues....

This is our home club and what a nice bunch of people they are.

The team are a passionate bunch of super-stars who are actually pretty good... if you've never seen a fast, creative and punchy game of rugby close up i suggest you buy a ticket - sit yourself in the charles wells stand and admire the force of the mighty bedford blues.

i can't cancel

this gym looks great from the start of your relationship with them. however they tell you "sign up now and if you don't like it you can cancel with only paying for 3 months"

so i joined - used and became dissapointed with the service and the facilities.

i also got hounded by phone by the promotions team asking me to give them names and numbers of my friends who might like to join.

i now wish to cancel - and have been told i can't until i have paid for 12 months in full..

i will never have or recommend fitness first to anyone ever.

i like the other subway shop more!

We have two in bedford and i prefer the one on the high street - to find out way check out my review for it!!!!

Other than that this midland road store is pretty average to be honest!

Super-Subway

This is a great example of a great Subway store.

You'll often find me in here at 3am on a Sunday morning after working in a club.

Love the menu, love the door-staff who are always up for a bit of banter with the drunk folk of bedford.

always get chopped here!

I always have my hair styled at Russo's.

Sheena is my stylist and does a fantastic job every couple of weeks to keep my looking normal at least.

I recommend the services of these guys, especially if you have a function or party to go to - whizz in on your lunch break and get styled up.

Pretty Normal

The Litten Tree is a tired brand now if you ask me.

It's a very samey place and also very dated.

Nice drinks offers though and some fairly ok music - However with Harvey's Bar opening up next door I feel the Litten Tree is only going to go in one direction.

Unless they move with the times they will get left behind.

The Harpur Centre is THE centre of shopping in Bedford.

It houses the big-name brands and has parking right in the town centre.

The centre is well managed and always feel bright, safe and a pleasant place to be.

This is a good Pizza Express

I've been to this chain all over the UK.

Some have sloppy "student" service others are real class.

Pizza Exress in Bedford is a great experience.

The food is nice and the service is great too!

Great service

I'm a tennant of Martin and Co Bedford.

The first property I rented had several problems as it was a new build. Martin and Co were awesome at simply finding me another suitable flat and helping me move.

If you are moving to the Bedford area I recommend talking to Martin and Co.

Excellent food is waiting

The team at Saffron truly know how to deliver the finest Indian food - and i've paid many visits to this restaurant and it's consistantly good.

The menu is traditional and perfectly balanced to suit all tastes.

I can recommend Saffron as one of "the" places to eat in Bedford.
