not my cup of tea 
this place is a little lively - also full of young people, some of which could be described as chavs!
i like the big screen for the football though - however the crowd in here can make the place a little uninviting.
you might like it - but it's not for me

lovin the pub quiz 
we have spent many a sunday evening in this place trying our best to win the legendary quiz.
we've come last, second last and last again! DOH!
However i nearly won £700 on higher or lower - but you guessed it I lost that aswell.
the funniest thing is the host's catchphrase............ What a blow! its not bruce forsyth but - its fun just the same!

great after a day in the office 
this place is the saviour of dinner time!
the service is sooo friendly, quick and the portions are good too.
they do really good mushy pea's in this chippy.
the chips aren't greasy and the batter on the fish is soooo tasty.
i use this at least once a week and can recommend it to everyone who lives in or might be moving to flitwick.

Traditional Jewellers 
This is one of those old fashioned traditional jewellers where you can browse, ask to see things and you never get tutted at like in those high-street chains!!
You know the ones where you ask to see the other watch and the chav tuts at you!!
I recommend calling in from watch batteries to all kinds of other jewellery try before heading off to MK.

Review of The Blackbirds

Friday is Blackbirds day
Most Fridays we meet at the Blackbirds after work before hitting the mighty Ampthill for a hot rockin night out.
The Blackbirds has a lovely area where you can enjoy a meal plus the traditional bar area for a good old chat with your friends.
The garden in the summer time is cool too - and what's also tip top about this pub is the large car-park outside which is handy for calling by to meet workmates!

lovefilm is better....
I'm afraid I joined this video store but after one dvd decided that the selection on the internet based rental sites was better!
Sorry to say, but heres a good example of a local business that hasn't moved with the times.
It's reminisent of the video stores we used to use as a kid!
Nothing has changed here!!

Review of Best Kebab

Life saver after a night out!!
The Best Kebab or Best Kabizzle as we know it at my office!!
It's the only place to get food after a night out. Thank god they are open really, really, really late!
The food is pretty tip-top too.
I recommend the Chicken Kebab and the Chicken Buger!

Shell in Flitwick
This is my choice of filling station in Flitwick.
We have Tesco or Shell!! I find the Shell Garage to be usually a penny cheaper than Tesco.
However I also love to use the pay at pump feature. This is sometimes not working at the Shell station and that can be frustrating when your in a rush.
