Delicious food
I recently went for a meal here with some friends and we had lovely evening. The Caesar's has a really good atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. I like the way you get up from the table to pick your food from the display - and there's a great choice of seafood and meat - however we did have to wait quite a while in line for our turn to be served.

Delicious food but quite expensive
This restaurant serves up a delicious meal on lovely plates! From the outside the restaurant doesn't look that great - once you've got past the bright purple paint and have settled inside, you'll be pleasantly suprised. Really good food but its not cheap and the service could be better. All in all worth a visit though as the food is delicious.

Excellent family run restaurant
This is a great place to eat! There's a good selection on the menu of delicious meals and all things italian and at lunchtime they do a 2 course special with a glass of wine. The atmosphere is lovely, a real touch of italy and the service is excellent. Have eaten here and been back a number of times since, and not been disappointed yet! Would definitely recommend but make sure you book for an evening meal as it gets really busy!

Nice atmosphere
This a pub and a restaurant. We found this place to be one of the busier night spots in woodstock and it had a really nice atmosphere. We had a locely meal and the staff were really friendly. Would recommend a visit.

Disappointing
This pub has the potential to be fabulous however we found it a real let down as the staff were really unfriendly and quite rude! The meals we ordered were average and over priced. There's a small garden you can sit out in which is nice spot on a sunny day but a little cramped.

Good food
This place is great for Sunday lunch. Book a table in the conservatory area as its a light airy room with a lovely atmosphere. The Sunday roasts are delicious and there's a good selection of desserts to follow if you can fit it in! In winter they have a log fire burning too. The only slight let down is we found the staff weren't that friendly or attentive but I think thats down to the fact Sunday lunch is a very busy time for them! Great location for a walk around the Blenheim gardens afterwards!

Great gastropub
This is a lovely pub on the river. Excellent menu and uses local produce. Friendly and efficient staff. Would recommend the fishcakes or the Roast Beef on a Sunday. This place gets very busy on the weekend so would recommend booking. If you haven't booked you can get a table in the bar but its first come first served so you'll need to get there early. It has a good outdoor space so is great for families. There are picnic tables outside and there's an adventure playground in the garden for the children to play in.

Great spot, but average food
This indian restaurant is in a fabulous location right on the river opposite the Head of the River pub. You can enjoy a lovely view and we were lucky to have booked on a sunny evening and had reserved a table in the window. We had a nice meal but the food was a little disappointing as the expectations are high because of where this restaurant is located - you'd expect an excellent meal. Worth a visit for the location though

Review of Talk House

Lovely food
The Talk House gets really busy so make sure you book. This is a really nice gastropub and would defnitely recommend a visit. The Sunday roasts are particularly delicious but if you haven't reserved a table you won't get in. Make sure you leave for a dessert as there's a good choice of delicious temptations! Plenty of parking and easy access.

Review of Queens Head

good real pub food!
There's a welcoming atmosphere in this family run pub, and if you like good pub food and decent portions this is just the ticket. The Queens Head is no gastropub but the food is great and well priced compared to other nearby establishments. Would recommend the omelettes and curly fries! Sunday lunch is good too but busy, they do two sittings - only downside normal menu isn't availbale on sundays but that won't worry you if you want a roast as there's a good choice of meats!
