Babies and Children shop 
Mothercare sells everything a new parent could need. The baby clothes are adorable and the toys educational and fun. I bought a lot of stuff for my boyfriends younger sister here, to the extent that my presents got a tad predictable.

Healthy Chinese
New Culture Revolution is a small contemporary chinese restaurant. It has a clean and fresh atmosphere, which reflects the food on offer. The chinese soups feel cleansing, and the chow mein tastes distinctly ungreasy. The prices are very reasonable. In my opinion New Culture Revolution is better for a quick lunch than for dinner.

Ok Italian restaurant 
Med Kitchen is a pretty standard European restaurant. The food is nice, and prices are comparable to other similar restaurants. The atmosphere is ok, nothing special. There are other restaurants in Angel which offer similar food in more interesting surroundings.

Nam Bistro is a Vietnamese restaurant. Vietnamese food is quite similar to other South East Asian food , lots of rice, noodles and stir fries. Nam Bistro is good value for money and the food is tasty.

Amazing Italian ice cream
Marine Ices is famous in North London for it's ice cream. I'm not quite sure what they do to make it so tasty, but it's definitely the best I've had. There's a wide range of flavours, and lots of sorbets too. Splash out on one of the huge 4 litre tubs, I promise it won't last as long as you think! Marine Ices is also an Italian restaurant, which I believe is good.

Average curry restaurant 
Masala Zone offers all the usual options on an Indian restaurant menu, and that's about it. The food is distinctly average, and the atmosphere is uninteresting. The food is cheap, which the restaurant uses as it's main selling point. I'd rather spend a couple of quid more a get much better quality food from one of Angel's other Indian restaurants.

Nice high street clothes
Mango sells a good range of womens clothes, from jeans and pyjama bottoms to fancy dresses and suits. All prices are very reasonable, even though the store has a very smart feel and clothes seem well made.

Fashionable shoes
Office sells lovely shoes. They have a good range of fashion trainers, ballet shoes, heels and boots. All of the footwear is aimed at young and trendy people. Office regularly has very good sales.

Friendly and competent local vet
My dog loves going to see her vet at the Amwell practise. Her vet clearly adores animals and has a natural rapport with them. The bills always seem expensive, but all vets are pricey. The service is reassuringly good, friendly and efficient, and you can be sure that your beloved pet will be in good hands.
