A great local restaurant or place for a friendly drink! 
I have been going to Lancasters for over a year now and am yet to be disappointed. The Tulse hill - West Norwood stretch is poorly served by pubs, bars and restaurants and so it is a diamond in the rough! The Mon-Thurs 2 burgers and bottle of house wine for £20 deal is great and as it is all home made is a fresh and healthy option. However I also order off the burger menu as there is lots of choice. The portions are huge and it is all amazing value. I do like the breakfast menu at the weekend to help recover from the occasional hangover! There is a small wine selection, but a good cocktail list to try. However I think the staff more than anything is what makes it such a great place. If you are looking for cordon bleu food or the next trendy bar, then Lancasters isn't for you. If however you are looking for filling, good food and value for money with great atmosphere, then you should visit them.
