Lincoln Lounge 
Small but comfortable bar with lots of comfy seating. Bar staff can be a bit slow as there is never enough and you get the impression they never expect to be busy. Quite often have live music - which is usually quite good if not a little eccentric!

Review of The Famous Cock Tavern

The Buffalo Bar
Situated just outside Highbury & Islington tube beneath The Famous Cock pub. Live music and dance venue. Good place to see up and coming bands. Usually plays decent music to dance too a mix of modern and classic Indie and punk music. Doesnt get too busy. Occasionally though the music is a little dubious and the crowd slightly odd.
