Review of Paperchase

Whats the point? 2*

What's the point in renting commercial space so small and cramming it with little bits of stationery, but not enough room for people walk around? No ones stationery needs can be so urgent that hyou can't wait to go to a shop where you can move your elbows.

Review of Tas Restaurant

Turkish Chain 2*

This place is a little soulless for a 'Mediterranean restaurant'. There's a lot of choice on the menu, but the layout had a feel of nando's about it. All the crockery is branded too, a pet peeve. The food arrived really quick - good if you are in a rush but we weren't! It also made us think there's probably just some factory set up in the kitchen to appeal to the lowest common denominator. All the mezze came with an unnecessary salad garnish, while one of our mains came swimming in what tasted like Heinz tomato soup, rather than a tomato sauce. The meat on the shish kebabs didn't seem to be a very good cut either. There was a guitarist, for about half an hour, and probably an attempt to create some kind of atmosphere. Fine for most diners, but if you are stuck next to the musician and the kitchen as we were, then don't expect to hear who ever is sat across the table from you.

Review of Cubana

Summer Fun 3*

On a warm evening the crowds spill into the car park, which isn't an area worth waxing lyrical about. But it's better than staying inside which gets quite hot. The place can be understaffed but the cocktails are ok. Grim toilets though.

Review of Tate Modern

Another Tate, another amazing building 5*

This place used to be a power station and you are made to feel very small when your in here. Londoners generally ignore it as we know it is always there, and not going anywhere so i'd urge anyone who regularly walks past it to pop in, even just for 5 minutes and absorb a bit of art. And it's free, don't you know!

Review of Tate Modern Bar

Summer Lovin! 5*

If you can get a place outside on a summer evening, order a bottle of wine and refuse to move! Watch the world go by on the Thames or stare in awe at St Pauls cathedral, but most importantly just relax. If it's not so warm, don't fret as the place has floor to ceiling windows so you can still enjoy the view.

Review of Shakespeares Globe Theatre

Everyone should go at least once! 5*

The only thing i can fault about this place is that the seats are uncomfortable. But in the name of authenticity i didn't mind! You can get standing seats for a £5 as well, and at a price that cheap you don't even need to stay for the whole thing if your legs ache! Keep an eye out for special evening or very late performances - you might get a bacon buttie after the show! Seeing Shakespeare's plays performed how he would have wanted is great.
