Easy Now
Whenever i tell people i'm from Nottingham they either make a joke about shottingham or tell me some useless fact about how there are 7 women to every man or something like that. While i think that this 'fact' is slightly exaggerated, if you still want to head to Nottingham to try and get lucky, then you can do worse than make this your first port of call. Sure it's out of town and on an industrial estate, and probably past it's heyday, but it's the locals that make it a very special place.

I don't get it
It's an OK enough place, but no better or worse than any other club i've been to in Central London. It gets hot and sweaty enough and has two rooms, the one to the left is slightly quirkier and more atmospheric. Queued for ages to get in and not sure it was entirely worth it, but the place seems to have some hardcore devotees who are willing to wait. Good for them! I won't be that bothered in the future.

Chilli Crab tastic
Went here for the Chilli Crab festival - a piece of shameless marketing by some company (i forget the name), but it was an enjoybale way to spend a summers day with yummy fresh made food, exhibitions and performances. Glad to see a mix of different cultures bringing London to life.

Happy Happy Hour!
This place is nice to start your evening off in cool surroundings and well located so you have a pick of Nottinghams night life to head to once your done, and your within stumbling distance of Hockley and the Lace Market.
Get a pitcher to yourself in happy hour for a cheap start to the evening. But pace yourself otherwise you'll be tiddled before you get to the bottom.

Never seen comedy here...
but have been clubbing mid week. Distinctly underwhelming, sticky dancefloor and serves lambrini in little bottles with a straw in it. Need i say more?

You've been warned
You'll have needed to have drunk an awful lot of blu wkd before wanting to step into this place, even if it was a last resort. 70s music, cheap alcohol and some right states on the dancefloor...you have been warmed!

Review of Rock City

Try Thursdays
I've been going to Rock City on a Thursday since i was far too young, and now i'm old enough to know better - so i go with my little bro. With floor fillers on the decks, and beer spillers on the floor it's a night that you will either love or hate. Load up on tequila nearby, be prepared to spend your evening jumping around, don't expect clean loos or classiness and you'll be in the right frame of mind to have a well good time.

Sweaty Horse Box
The kind of music they play here is oure cheese a you can expect from anywhere along St Mary's Street.
The clientele are a bit wide boy at the weekends, students during the week.
The place generally turns into a sweaty horse box which induces claustrophobia after a while.
If you are looking for a club which lacks imagination then this is for you.
