Review of The Link
05 May 07, 13:52
Phone shop
The Link sells mobile phones and accessories such as phone chargers and cases. Landline phones and deals are also on sale. The staff are helpful but clearly commission driven and so sometimes annoyingly pushy. You can always tell which phone they are promoting each month.

Review of The Mitre
18 May 07, 23:56
Pub popular with young people
The Mitre is a Scream pub (a large chain of pubs aimed mostly at young people). It has DJs on the weekend, and opens quite late. The Mitre attracts quite a young crowd; I'm only 22 but I'd feel a bit old for this place.

Review of The Screen On The Green
20 May 07, 11:20
Independent cinema
The Screen on the Green is a single screen cinema that shows films to the alternative side of mainstream cinema; rarely are indie films shown, but the selection is certainly more interesting than you'd get at your local Odeon. In recent years the Screen on the Green has faced tough competition from the new multiplex cinema down the road which offers a wider choice and, to be honest, better sound and more comfortable seating. But even so, choose the Screen on the Green, as independent cinemas are a dying breed in North London.
